Now just a minute! I thought all y'all have watched the vids by the Goddess Sah! She has demonstrated multiple times how to avoid the baddies whether you go with Ralof or Hadvar.

Quick recap: Have a 1-hand weapon equipped in your right hand and nothing in your left. When the baddies become hostile go into while sneaking immediately go into block mode until they fixate on Ralof or Hadvar.

You are now free to un-equip the weapon and pummel away with your fists. You really can't get aggro for them to come after you, but if somehow you did, just repeat the sword/block above and they'll go back to Hadvar or Ralof.

You must now all pay tribute at the Shrine of Sah. She will accept all your gold of course, but truly if you want to get back into her good graces you must provide a new pair of STILETTOS from the Radiant Raiment!

Yeah, that's wonderful... if it works. When the guy comes through the door at me, he's already in a power attack, and if I try to block I'm dead...

I USED to carry a pair of stilettos, but the cops took them away in Denver during a riot... and they maced me too...

Sounds like something got "baked" in... try one of the sneak mods?

Mostly, I've learned to just live with it, but when the competition doesn't allow one-handed, things can get a bit sticky.

It's really interesting when Hedvar takes a knee and they both come after me. BTW, they won't pay attention to Hedvar again until he stands up.

Hmmmm well I've used that method every time in legendary competition. That is, I'm in sneak mode hidden around the corner in the alcove by the door I came in and when the imperials red dots show I immediately go into block and they never even get to the alcove.

For the stormcloaks I let Hadvar go in first and I stay back and hidden in sneak mode and again as soon as red dots appear I block and they never come into the other room.

Maybe it's a timing thing one has to work on or maybe.....

Oh I see now you're riding the sabre cat's friend and he doesn't like that. They used to play on the tundra all day chasing, running, tails in the air, but no you had to ruin their fun by taking away his friend Horsey! :lmao:

Tilda Two-Tongue is about 4 hours in, almost to level 6. Cleared Valtheim Towers and Silent Moons Camp. Avoided Amren. :)

She's wearing fine leather armor, and the Helgen mages hood. She swings a fine steel battleaxe.

So far, the combination of Two-hander and conjured Flame Atronach is working well. Fury for thinning out crowds.

One of the hardest things for me is avoiding reflexively blocking.

Yeah, I have the blocking issue too... It doesn't help that I picked up one of the "block" skill books, either so now block is at like 16.5.

What I'm finding difficult is NOT picking flowers. I know I don't need them for alchemy, but... :face: That is such a difficult habit to break! :teehee:

<snicker> I do it anyway... every septim counts towards the next spell.. and Caleb need's the bound battleaxe ( wish it was a greatsword though).

He bought himself a horse from Whiterun...rode it out to a wild herd and picked a different horse ( for the color )... no saddle though...cause No C.H....no saddle mod... Horse is dumber than dirt, but get's to the job faster. ATM he's waiting in the 1st chamber in BFB for me to join him...

It was canis roots that drove me crazy... Usually, I can't find hardly any of them, this time it seemed I was stumbling over them everywhere I went.

Anyway...

Brandon has met his fate at the hands of the plain ol' bandit just inside Cragslane Cavern. One of those "GOTCHA!" NPCs I guess. He took both Brandon and a flame atronach down with 3 hits in total darkness.

Brandon the Zombie

Great Run..

For the Quest's... I don't think so ( Richard get's final say... but )...just the bounty, side and misc... makes doing any of the quest-lines.. not advantageous.

Good run... gonna go again?

Nah, I'm done for this one. It was fun and interesting, but the fact is that the limitations ran Brandon into a dead-end. Perhaps if I'd worked harder on illusion, but having to fight with two handed and being unable to block was just not going to work out once high level foes hit. Then the problem is that vanilla doesn't give much to conjure, just flame atronachs and eventually frost atronachs that are too big to use half the time.

The Sanguine Rose might have compensated, but without being able to recharge it, it would soon have been useless.

Yeah once you lvl up it's going to get harder on everyone... I am working on illusion, but not as hard as I could...and I had thought's about a follower at higher lvl's... Expert is going to be hard enough...

Plan is to get conjuration high enough to get the Dremora's....twin's would be nice... they work OH soooo much better than Frosty the impossible ice man....
