Stop in and see Sinderion!

Will do :)

Also visited Lazar Milvan. He's always a hoot to bother :D

--------------------------

Since rain poured from the sky, Lothran decided to go have some dungeon fun. First up was the necro lair Fort Linchai. Fun fun fun. Then as he was walking back to Skingrad he came upon Miscarcand and decided to re-do that one as well.

Turns out though, he has never been there either! :O I don't know why but this year Lothran seems to knock one unexplored dungeon after another off the list.
A very interesting dungeon, to say the least. A few fights were going on as he entered the different parts of the ruin between goblins, Bitterfish goblins and various undead. A lot of nice loot as well with the Grand Prize of course being the ultra-rare Great Welkynd Stone! Lothran had only heard rumors about it but here it was, up for grabs! The Miscarcand King didn't like it though so he went off to have a talk with Lothran's summoned Spriggan who, needless to say, won the argument ;)

After all this it was finally back to Skingrad and the Fighters Guild. A good night's sleep was just what Lothran needed :)

Lothran has just returned to Skingrad after a brief visit to the Imperial City to offload loot. He took the route back via the woods and visited the Isolated House along the way. He has currently spent a night at the Fighters Guild and is now sitting in a chair in his room, awaiting his companion's return.

That's cool that you can still find new stuff in Oblivion after all these years. I still find new stuff but most of it is mod added. Lately, I have become more interested in making mods and my latest project has been developing Valenwood. I am just getting started and I am basing it off of the Valenwood landscape mod by Under the Sign of the Dragon, but I spent several hours last night building a road through the jungle and it was quite fun, almost like real road building because it started with my character in game "surveying" the best route for the road, to make the road work with the existing terrain, rather than against it. Then I went into the CS and started building the road.

The next step will be to add some sites that my character can visit. The lore of Valenwood has lots of Ayleid ruins there, so I may start with creating a ruin, but I plan to use Betty's Cambodian Ayleid Ruin Retexture for the ruins I add to Valenwood to give them a jungle feel.

How's that project coming along for you, Turija?

As for Lothran, he's now at Gottshaw Inn and on his way to Anvil. Nice weather and fun fights and he also visited Camp Kvatch where the inhabitants still piss and moan about what happened instead of rebuilding their city. I know it's sad and all but come on, guys. It's been ten years :P

Oh, yes. It's all still on fire and yet, nothing is more burnt down now than a decade ago :D

Progress is slow but steady. I've now got a nice road from the Elsweyr border that meanders in a westerly direction to where Falinesti is located on my map. I've also started to add some wildlife along the road, and now I am looking at Valenwood resources to construct a tree city at the Falinesti location. Unfortunately, the beautiful A-Frame houses contained in those resources don't have collision and I don't have the skill yet in Blender to add collision, so I cannot use them. But the retextured Telvanni mushroom type pods do seem to have collision and they will work well in conjunction with seigfreid's tree resources to create an interesting "tree city". So, that's my next step -- constructing a tree city at Falinesti.

Lothran is enjoying his time in Anvil county. His favourite pastime is messing with dungeon dwellers by making them follow him outside and then summon his Spriggan who then summons her bear.

A summon that summons a summon. Fancy that :D

I waver back and forth between Anvil and Bruma. I always get the creepy abandoned house in Anvil, and the house in Bruma. I don't always get a house in the other cities.

I loved Anvil....reminded me of the coastal villages in Devon and Cornwall in summer, all that grey dry stone building. I could retire there quite happily...

Lothran has spent a couple of slow days in Anvil but come Friday things will pick up speed. He will then embark up into the Imperial Reserve to look for things that can fight his Spriggan, and then he will make his way towards Skingrad again.

I'm tellin' ya, guys. If Lothran didn't have three places already I would strongly urge him to get the one in Skingrad. I just love that town :)

Yeah, I reckon the Skingrad mansion has those display cases, right? It would most definitely fit his collections.

But I can't. Since he has the Imperial City shack and the ones in Bruma and Bravil it would just be too many houses. Plus, you see a theme here? While the Bruma house is indeed an upper class one, it's still not on par with the nicer houses in Skingrad, Anvil and Chorrol. And the other ones in Bravil and Imperial City are on the bottom of the barrel.

What I'm saying is that Lothran is a very down-to-Nirn character and those fancy places just would not suit him, and he knows this too. He would feel uncomfortable living in them. But it's ok, he likes just visiting the towns and has no need to settle down in them :)

I'd be surprised if you could still buy the Skingrad house anyway. You've got lots of hours, right? Usually the guy who sells you the house falls off the bridge to the castle and dies, at some point.

It's that Orc, right? Yeah, he may have vanished from Lothran's game now.

And yes, he has some hours now but surprisingly not that many for having played for ten years; 2500 closing in on 2600.

That is lower than I expected, TBH. I have close to 7k in Skyrim since 2011.

On one character? ;)

I could have done my counting wrong, truth be told. I really wish Beth had implemented the Fallout 3 counting into Oblivion as well.
