thanks Areial that means a lot to this one, and has been trying very hard to resist being off topic & not make a joke about everything, not writing everything in pink ext by all means Skyrim Forums is a wounder-full site, and is where this one has had her best successes (only 524 posts with 1930 rep points & 1150 likes) and there are great ppl there like Sir Kholar & Black Orchid) and will never forget that, one day she might go back who knows? because this one will run out of data today can you please post a list of mods for this round (so I can download them and test them out) & about the rules? you got the final set up? will play this round but wont be back online until the week end so Name Sah Race Nord Gender Female Difficulty - yet to be decided (or according to set rules) |

Sah...all mods are up to you...you decide which ones you want to use...or not use... Anything that makes the game harder gets a +( plus sign) any thing that makes the game easier gets a - (minus sign ) So what you want is a game with equal amounts of both OR more pluses than minuses... this means your game is harder than just what you decide... we have not decided IF we are going to use the sliding difficulties or not... but will be drawing skills. |

Sah....it's not set completely yet... we have not drawn the random skills. Won't start til the 7th...hopefully you can get back on line before...or maybe Rick can phone you with the full set of rules, when we get them. |

I hope you can to... Yeah this round will end on the day their round start's 6 am to 6 am...40 hr's... which is enough time I think. We still haven't decided on if we are going to use the sliding difficulties... I'm for it... as long as we have Sneak, Lock-picking, Pick-pocket and speech..as freebies... the quest's can be done.. Killing things.... depending on what is drawn... that could be an issue! we really need to get that done... but I would like to hear from everyone first!! or at least a majority. |

I'd go with making sure "a" weapon skill is taken. If illusion is on the list, killing isn't necessary. Not personally anyway. Frenzy. |

well it's a random draw... so chances are archer, 1h, 2h, destruction...one of them probably will get drawn.. Illusion and conjuration are almost as good as a direct way to kill. Edit: If no one has any objection's I'll do the random draw tomorrow when I get home from work...before if I get some go-a-head's before then... cause I know, that having Tera-armor's for that niffy Rogue's armor would be a complete waste if light armor isn't chosen! Sounds good to me too. Also gives me a bit of time to figure out a build before I actually give it a go. Or try to anyways. Hell if I know if the electrical will be done before the comp's over. We need a new outlet wired in, and that probably means the fuse box needs replaced with a circuit breaker box(yes, he's got the 40s era ceramic fuses) so the gods only know when it'll be done. |

OK so...what I got for a random draw is..... Conjuration Illusion Destruction Light armor Archery Freebies: Speech Sneak Pick-pocket Lock-picking Not the best skills that could have been drawn, but not the worst either. I think planning each quest ( the not radiant go fetch quests) is going to be key. Up for discussion....| \/ Speaking of... Keys... Key's that people carry...can be pick-pocketed for points...Wiki say's the bounty for pick-pocketing is 25...so 25 points per key. So points... Main Quests... 100 per quest done...1000 for completing "Under New Management" Radiant....100 per quest ( you may have to keep track of how many) Penalties... *2 point leeway on all non-drawn skills, then -250 for each point that accrue's for the 1st 10 after that, then -500 accruing for each point their after. (ex: Destruction if it starts at 20 for your character) 21= 0 22= 0 23= -250 points 24= -250 + -250 = -500 points * penalty equal to the amount of your lfe-time bounty. The 2 point leeway is the same as in other rounds. Sliding scale or not? ( different cause without a craft....) 1-10 Novice 11-18 Apprentice 19-26 Adept 27-34 Expert 35-42 Master 43---on Ledgendary Edited by Areial, Jan 2 2017, 11:32 AM.

On one of the rounds we did a sliding scale... so you start at Novice and scale up in difficulty at certain levels... It was every 10 lvl's...but with no craft's to lvl one up quickly I changed it a little, 1-10 still being Novice... but all the other lvl's coming sooner.. It's just an idea...and with no craft's...it may not be a great idea.,, increases the difficulty as one get's more skilled. |

No problem... I'm trying to get Lucien ready for a Mod'd run... Become Etheral may be important...but will having dragon's be a good idea without either smithing or enchanting... though buying/ finding and using potion's/ enchanted items.. is not against the rules...just making them. |

That is how we have done it in the past... Imo...this round, pick 2...to perk, the other two... not, because well they are needed skills... but, I'll go with majority on it. |

For thieves, perking lockpicking, sneak and pickpocketing makes sense. At the least, sneak and pickpocket, because those two are key. You can get by rather easily without perking lockpicking, and if you're picking keys... Which I'm awful at. I can't pickpocket to save myself. *always* get spotted. I forsee a HUGE penalty for pickpocket bounties. |

Thinking for me is a dangerous thing.... :evil: Freebies usually aren't perked. ..sooooo... you can perk up to, 2 of your freebie skills, BUT you have to give up the perks on up to , 2 of your drawn skills... you can still use them though. How's that sound? |
