The mod I am using does that...,makes them Invisible.. Terra Armors has "invisible" helmets.. actually the two version's I have all helmet's are invisible.. Tsuri uses a helmet from that mod, A'Riya is using a mod that makes all helmet's invisible.. which I really don't like. I'm seriously thinking about using the Terra armor just for the blasted helmets. Neil.. yeah that's why I stepped back from Master.. even though it was a creature from IC, I figure OBIS would end up just as much a suicide choice. I still have part of today that I want to run A'Riya, then I want to switch back to Tsuri and run her story until the start of this round.. |

Yeah I'm thinking of a different build. I'm on expert and wanted to bump it but I just can't. |

Invisible helmets..... Well the un scripted answer is simple as per the inadquate player only invisible leather helmet. Except give us something with a bit of clout when smithed up.....invisible glass and invisible ebony helmets. It would be worth the long slog of smithing to make those, and once obtained they would work great. As a mod of course....such helms could be simply left in a chest for the player, as many Armour mods are.....no smithing required. Just gotta get someone to do it! |

I'm pretty happy with my build.. it's working well.. only thing is 2h is way ahead of everything else... but I plan on doing a couple dungeon's where she can use sneak and archery to get through.. so hopefully that will help with lvl'ing those up... Maybe head up to Ange's and get some training... Aela would be a more convenient trainer.... but going through Dustman's Cairn isn't something I want to think about til a much higher lvl... FRPS isn't working...did, stopped... I found an Ore Guardian spawn.. outside.. and tried 4 different difficulties.. Adept- Legendary.. wanted to record it..<sigh> Didn't last a second less on Legendary as on Master.. Expert took some potions..( many low lvl minor healing potions) Adept.. a few of the same potions. I'm thinking which way I want to go... taking out OBIS mean's removing something else on the opposite side... It's still more +'s than -'s.. and in no way does Growing Apples and Tomatoes equal OBIS... but I want it to stay in the in the balance I have it.. IDK.. I'll think about it. |

Hmmm one could just turn off ore spawns and leave everything else the same. Also, I thought all Companion trainers were available after you complete the first quest for Farkas. |

True... I never mess with the MCM menu, so I forget I can... I might cause one of the death's ( their were several) was during the cut-scene of mining.. and I couldn't get out fast enough to even pull her sword....literally the scene stopped and she was dead... :x: and yeah but for me it's "in for a penny in for a pound" and I'd wanna do enough to get the werewolf disease immunity... It would be a temptation I might not be able to resist... :bang: |

As soon as i talked to Farkas to pick up Trouble in Skyrim(first random job you do for the Companions) I could talk to him after picking it up to get training in heavy armor. So no you don't have to do Dustman's Cairn. Thank the gods. |

...as I said, it's the temptation... but I may have to, we'll see.. for competition it's easier for me to do odd things.. but in someways takes away the enjoyment. |

In the end, I trashed OBIS and installed "Increased Enemy Spawns" instead. It's supposed to spawn twice as many enemies... so far my test char hasn't noticed any difference numbers-wise. As a side note, I also installed "Relationship Dialogue Overhaul", and it adds a lot of different conversation to NPCs. So far, that's fun. |

Posted Image I need to get a pic of Imora. I like how she turned out. Imora Dal'syn was my first real MMO main that followed through multiple games. I have her in WoW, EQ2, ESO and FFXIV. Edit, got pic. Edited by Sakiri, Jan 30 2017, 03:41 PM.

So I'm in one of those places where, I know I picked good skills.. but after killing the Bandit Chief in Bile Gulch with paralyze potions and other poisons... it doesn't "feel right".. using a poison now and then.. yeah, but IDK.. just now rethinking that one.. and trying to come up with a different skill that makes sense .. or just not using poison's like that... For general play, I only do it if I'm playing that kind of character. For DiD competition, it's a different story, of course. Roleplay is more constrained for competition, and the play is more focused on survival/success. |

It truly makes sense for a "ranger" to know poisons... but.. apply, hit, apply hit.. apply, hit.. Then hitting someone when they are down, IDK... Not my vision of "The Hero of Skyrim".. I guess I could stick with it and sell all the poisons, concentrate on healing and fortify potions.. Invisibility... |

I don't like to use poisons, but I do occasionally... Most of the time I carry around a ton of poisons and paralytics, and simply forget to use them. I always collect and pack around a bunch of Frost Spider Venom, even though it's heavy and a really crappy poison that's not really worth the effort of using. The only real exception is when I use "Slow" (as I frequently do) to keep the foe from catching me while I make a run for my life. :) |

Oddly "Slow" only slows down dragons...in flight. For us. Adella....being the kind of wicked person she is....quite happily uses paralyse poison then re-applies as necessary. She likes bandits helpless at her feet....but then that's no surprise! Plus she has that Ranger build aspect, so poisoned bow is a favourite. As Trace said, in DiD you do what you must to survive.....facing off a big steel armoured Orc may be an honourable, macho, mano et mano thing....but all we really need is him dead and then we move on. Reminds me of the India Jones scene when he faces the proficient swords man....he gives that too tired to care look, pulls his revolver and drops the guy, then turns and saunters off like someone who's had a heavy day (which Indie had). In fact....qualifying for Lakeview from Siddgeir often sees us facing that big ol' Orc chief in Bilegulch mine at level 10 with his enchanted steel battleaxe.....suicide to face him down with AR 90 and a simple shield! So yeah, we don't agonise over the dishonour of using dirty tricks like paralyse poison....if it gets the job done and keeps us alive <shrug>. Shame it doesn't work on the undead! :) Edited by Rick, Jan 31 2017, 08:00 AM.
