me too Saki...I spent hours looking in the regular Skyrim mods for some that I could use that would work. Brokefoot's UNP Mashup only partially works, and then I found the UNP Leather Clothes, in german, but the body slots are wrong. Tried changing them in the CK, no dice, parts of my character became invisible. Going back to the slots the author put them in, you put a piece on, something else worn comes off. Not to mention that Hmm What to Wear, and patch for it, apparently works for people, or doesn't, at random. (I'm on the doesn't list) GRRRR. I've given up for the time being. |

In order to change the slots used by armor pieces, you have to change not only the slots in the CK, but you have to change out the slots the meshes use - in one of the graphics programs. At least, I think that's what someone told me a while back - can't remember what mod, but it was after I got Immersive Jewelry and had trouble with slot 45 (I think....) |

Immersive Jewelry has that explanation in its description page. "A: For them to be visible in first person, you have to edit your race for slots 44, 50, 54, 56, and 60 to be visible. IJ doesn't come shipped this way because of compatibility issues. For a quick fix, though, you can use this guy's mod: Gamefever's 1st person items visible" Edited by Brambleberry, Feb 27 2017, 08:12 PM.

Eh, I never do first person. This was a simple dysfunction between pants in the armor or clothing mod, and some of the necks in IJ. I have no clue how to edit mesh slots in something, so never went further. I kind of think it might have been Brokefoot's Misfit Mage outfits, but I couldn't find the post about it where he'd said what to do with the meshes, so it might have been something else entirely. |

Well dammit. The piece I want uses 45. :ugh: It's not worth messing with. |

Yeah.... 45 seems to be a pretty common problem. |

This looks like the place to put this. I just saw Gothic Plate Armor for the original Skyrim. It looks outstanding. I have not tried it, but I think it would work perfectly with the zweihander from Drunkzealot's somewhat historically accurate weapons |

Oy, that armor looks like what I saw in a castle in Germany a long time back - place was a museum, and the armor was worn by a prince of the family.... Cracked me up - the armor (therefore the prince) was shorter than I am (5'4") and the sword was like HUGE - taller than the prince! There was a photo of two strapping footmen hoisting him onto a horse which was probably at least 18 hands.... I dunno how they did it.... |

It is based off RL armor from the late 1400s. Really well done. Most people were really short back then, compared to us now. Nutrition was not nearly as good as it is now, among other things. Back in the 1000s Harald Hardrada was considered a giant of a man, and he was only about 6' 2"
I have played using everything! :D The Steed standing stone works really well for a heavy armor wearer, since it negates the weight of the armor and how it slows you down. |

That's a lot earlier than this prince. He was.... hmm.... well, there was an actual photo, so probably mid-1800s. |

Ok, this is going to be just a personal opinion of a house mod. It's called Whiterun Home, and as it sounds, it's in a (perfect really) location next to the Pelagia Farm by Whiterun. On first glance, it's attractive, the architecture fits, it's not too big or too small, and has all the features one would want. It even has one I don't want, but because I updated to the latest version before loading it in game, I now have a useless children's room. I had already deleted the previous version, and the one in my manual save file might do better, though it's 3.0 vs 4.2, and he doesn't list any older versions on his page. The follower's room is now in the basement, and if you don't have a follower mod, or a multi-floor sandbox mod, your follower/s probably won't use it. It also has a fast travel 'portal', which I figured I just would ignore. Now, it's not organized the way I would like, but it still seemed pretty good. Then I started finding stuff. Stuff that gave me skill increases, and other things I just call 'gimmes' that don't have to be found or earned. I haven't found everything, and won't, because I'm already souring on this house, though I admire the work that went into it. It does have a good background story. Another issue. SFO works perfectly with the landscape, but I had Verdant Grass, which I love, on this profile. Horrible!! The grass grows through and over everything. The mod author gave me a bunch of hoops to jump through in SSEedit to try to fix it, and I know it's my game and not his responsibility to fix. He pointed me to the Verdant author also, but I didn't need a headache over the whole thing so I switched back to SFO. Overall, I'd say a newer player and/or others will likely love the mod, but if I don't de-activate it, it will just look nice in this profile/landscape and never get used. Like I said, it's my opinion that it's just not going to work for me, but check it out anyway, it might be an undiscovered treasure for one of you. Edit: it will work if one has Elysium Estate, and be close neighbors. I don't do mod homes together like that, but some do. Edited by Andra Hawksdaughter, May 2 2017, 09:46 PM.

Yah, I looked at it - but it just seemed like there was too much OP stuff in it. I never delete older versions of mods - because you just never know.... |

I don't either, delete older ones that is...but this time I just did. I'll probably de-activate it anyway, I want my Verdant grass more than a tchotchke in the landscape! |
