I find that generally I level up much faster than I want to, but still not overly fast. I'd much rather take my time and enjoy the trip.

Yeah, mostly I don't do stuff that will make me level. Especially with LotD - if you really talk to Auryen every time you turn around, you're going to level WAY too fast. I - just like to go out in the wilds and - wander.....

Well, because restarting and losing progress (of the early game) gets to be a bit of a chore, I do tend to blast through it now without stopping to admire the view.

I have learned much from Sah about speed levelling and although I do not go to her stringent lengths...the basic methods power through the early mire to provide needed perks and skills at a useable level. Then, we slow down!

It's no guild secret. I pour all my efforts into Alchemy and Enchanting whilst stock piling the metals needed to assault the Smithing tree. Getting those metals whilst still only having an armour rating of around 100 takes a bit of nerve. Like mining out Halted Stream camp to the bottom of the passage which opens into the main chambre....you can actually see the lethal bandit chief whilst mining ore. Getting the Lakeview poison factory into commission can be a bit scary too...depending upon the chosen chief to be killed.

I can now level up faster than at any prior time, racing toward the point that the game switches from slow and scary to fun! For me the tipping point is about level 20 going through to 30. Armour reaches the point where bears can no longer one hit kill you and neither can most bandits....plus a few poisons grown at Lakeview will stop most things that are not undead (long enough to run away, if not kill them), so your chance of survival goes up a lot.
(Yeah, I know,....none of these fine words helped her last encounter with a Highwayman hammer maniac!)

Of course I am talking from Adella's Trial conditions point of view here....where we can't quaff healing pots to survive dangerous foes.

But the unexpected still happens....like last night. Pulled into Riverwood late at level 9 on our way to see Siddgeir. Vampire attack! It killed all the guards and resurrected its own killed Death hounds. Adella hit him several times not making a dent....he just kept healing up with vampiric drain. We ran into the inn. The red dot persisted in the compass even over night. In the morning we stood by the inn door trying to get up the nerve to go outside ....knowing he'd be wating on the porch!
Suddenly he came inside....spawned right in her face! Thank god Delphine is essential, but she could do no more than hold him at bay. We fled the scene and went East up into the foothills above the village hoping to leave the cell and despawn the deadly vamp.
As were neared the turnoff for Helgen...which is a world encounter spot....three Thalmor came into view.....you guessed it.....the execution squad! Having zero magic resistance, Adella turned north, lept over the rocks and shimmied down to get out of their line of fire. Finally free of foes she hit the stone road somewhere above the Guardian Stones and ran on to Falkreath. Phew! Now we have a personal reason to hate Thalmor!

Busy busy girl :)

Y'know... for me, the fun part IS the scary part, eh? It almost sounds as if it's the fun part for you and Adellla too... :)

Hee! Well the most dangerous period of level 10 to 20 something IS thrilling and nerve wracking in equal measure. But you can't relax whilst roaming...everything is potentially deadly. After level 30... we can normally chill out a bit, take in the view and enjoy it.....without keep looking over our proverbial shoulder for trouble.

My next video is up. I'm almost at the end of the Companions quest line. I have killed those witches and retrieved the fragments of Wuuthrad from Driftshade Refuge.

hello guys :)

this one has taken some time off Skyrim .......... needs the break or she will self combust & explode into a ball of flames, :face:
has been working on making Blindsited video from the thieves guild quest line ...........it has a total of 45min run time and over 20 hours of music editing (all new music all DJ'ed by DJ Sah) ........... the combat is amazing with lots of archery & close melee combat & is all done with no compus, no potions whats so ever or magic. ........... will upload it on Thursday when she has the data to do so.

on the other hand this one has the earge to play some FO4 its a good chance to get all her accomplishments & to do some shooting training witch she then can apply in Skyrim. .............. so if any one is interested this one is going to start a small 2-4 week DiD FO4 games, nothing hard or complicated, just how far you can survive in the wastelands of the commonwealth. ............ any one interested please come to Vault 111 & dont forget to bring a baby so it can get kidnapped OK (orphans found in Skyrim dont count) ;)

AD  Bravo :)

Sah, good luck with your FO4 run....hope to see you re-join us later. :)

Adella is powering through the MQ now...level 43 and about to face Alduin at the Throat of the World.....again! ;)

Since she re-started on 4th...that's under a week now to do what used to take me a month! Of course we don't get distracted by side quests much now....or go dragon hunting....or Fort raiding....we just do what is required to get strong enough to progress the MQ. With Sah's advice on acquiring Dwarven metals....smithing is less problematic too.

A nod also for Tom.....who put us on the path to doing Avanchenzel as a now regular step along the way. :)

So, I headed for Vault 111, but nobody was there. I thought maybe it was the wrong Vault, so I went looking, but I got lost in the Glowing Sea... the Children of Atom directed me to ask a hookah-smoking caterpillar for instruction, but the White Knight just kept talking backwards. I may have to just settle for chasing rabbits, eh? ;)

Tangibly close to the end of the MQ now......but remembering that all those bandit/forsworn forts would become boring soldier occupations after the peace council at HH convened, we decided to go out anyway on a rampage of unadulterated bandit slaughtering. Phew! It was great :)

Only one hiccup.......the little side mission "Repairing the White Phial" is broken. The game won't recognise when I have taken the needed Briar Heart. Tried reloading prior to reading Quintus' Letter....but still no go! :(

Other than that...great. We are in HH and about to take a seat at the council with Skyrim's movers and shakers. :)

OMG! Nearly bought the farm....again....

Well....we were at Skuldafn....which is just getting easier and easier.....I ensured that we didn't go into that small room in the tower again....lesson learned there.
So anyways.....she totally wiped the floor with all the draugr.....half them by bow just for fun.
Then.....then came......"Nahkriin"
Yes! That infernal shock spewing dragon priest.
Gods....he is so powerful.
She got a good couple of arrows into him (Ebony ones from her Dragonbone bow 'Carrindor' dmg 450)
But he came for her with his "wall of storms" staff and Thunderbolt spell.
She went Ethereal and hit him, but he squirrelled away to the side and zapped her for a third time. We couldn't afford another hit!

With her shout cool down preventing another BE shout....she had to flee as he sprayed electric on the floor in front of her feet as she ran.

Adella burst back inside the Temple with a rapidly pounding heart....and so was mine!

We watched the door like a hawk as she recovered. Then with BE all ready to shout and in full 600 health, we went back out to face him.

Bit of an anticlimax then. He was weak by now....Adella sighted a long shot and splashed him at the bottom of the steps. Yeah! That's my girl.

That just left the two perched dragons for a pair of easy soul captures and some useful bone.

Ok.....So we are now.....in Sovngarde...for the big showdown with the big fella. I might just video this one as it's the culmination of Destiny One. :)

Y'know I love it how Beth provide the games heroes like Ysgramor and Jurgen WC (how unfortunate..cough) for us to meet on the 'otherside'.
