AD, the console commands are: player.addperk ###### player.removeperk ###### Where the ###### is the perk ID. If you go here at the UESP and then select the perk tree in the table it will take you to the perks for the skill tree. The IDs are in the table on that specific skill tree page. Thank you Bram, but i remember that removeperk doesn't work. It's been years since i used it, so maybe i just typed something wrong. I've found a mod that allows me to reset perks (entire tree). |

Dead....again. The three Pit wolves this time. She was only level 5, but I thought she could take them in her steel armour.....wrong! Now I have to remake all the starting videos and build her up again. Worse.....I have to contend with her stomping about, smoking furiously and slapping her crop on the furniture. I think it's gonna be a rough evening <gulp> |

Aaaand we are up and running once more :) AD1Pt1 - Unbound https://youtu.be/dlUPZEp40ro I wouldn't bother watching this one....I mean its just another run through of the cart scenes and ending with leaving the cave......again. Not much even CAN go differently...except maybe the little combat. And the follow up: AD1Pt2 - Before the Storm https://youtu.be/mmgDLdJ08d8 Edited by Rick, May 3 2017, 08:55 AM.

It's funny......you would think that as a DiD vet with countless thousands of hours and hundreds of starts behind us we should be guaranteed to get well into the mid MQ before facing any worrysome risks. But no! Even with all our experience of the same ol' same 'ol over and over.....we can still be taken down by a lone wolf or big crab under level ten. Skyrim excells at teaching humility and respect. I know what causes the easy deaths. Skyrim changes is pace and balance as your levels rise.....which constantly throws you off. Most of us work best at a steady speed.....a regularised "difficulty of doing it" (not the slider thing). Skyrim keeps changing from easy foes to hard ones and back again and even that varies according to level. And I am not talking about obvious hard foes here...like giants etc. It's like by analogy......the easiest way to keep your car up with another car is if you are both doing about the same speed (your capability versus Skyrim's deadlyness) But Skyrim keeps accelerating and slowing down.....not only that but sometimes it accelerates and brakes fiercely....sometimes more gently. Now I am sweeping up here a huge number of intangibles.....subtleties. Its not as blunt and simple as just "level scaling" it's about type of foes and frequency of contact and numbers in packs....and levels. I don't think for one moment that Bethesda conciously programmed the game with such 'behavoir'. It is more like the result of a dynamic....game aspects working together and influencing each other in marvelous unplanned ways. Its like.....you know Skyrim's weather (esp with mods). Sometimes you get the most breathtaking beautiful scene as mists combine with cloud and sun and almost rainbow colours infuse the skies......but no one coded that. They code the sun...then some cloud then some redness changes etc.....the game dynamically combines effects and sometimes the results are stunning and practically unrepeatable. Well that's easy to see and enjoy. But change clouds for foes, colours for damage amounts, mists for variable numbers and npc perks. These variables and more....work together like the components of weather to make unforseen combinations of sheer bloody mindedness and deadly intent. SKYRIM.....Wonderful ;) |

Lotsa fun! :) I have a question for your though... When she'd hit one of them with the axe, sometimes there's a blue glow, and other times a green one. I take it green is a paralytic, (and I'm unsure what the blue is) but do you have it hotkeyed to use paralytic poison or is it enchantment? |

Very observant neil ;) Blue....is Soul Trap...it flashes on hit, even if not taking the soul. Green... is a wee droppy paralyse poison on her weapon :) My only hot keys are for bow changing out to axe with shield. What you did not see...is some very subtle editing in which I took out the screens where you choose and apply the poison. Why? Because...Pace! Nothing ruins a fiesty battle like stopping to run through your inventory eh! So in the interests of more immersive battle scenes...I removed most of those screens. Watch carefully you will also see a dead bandit or two 'instantly' lose their apparals by the same mechanism. Notice also how we generally in most videos do not stop to raid chests....again it breaks the flow. After the recorded section...with foes all dispatched...we usually go back and do the loot sweep at our leisure :) Later we do obtain and use a paralyse enchantment...just a second on melee weapons and two seconds on bows. I picked up this idea from Sah. One second knocks foes off their feet and happens regularly enough to often keep them from responding. My additional ploy is to use the two seconds on bows....just long enough to start them falling down a hillside, or off a structure. But foes must not hit the ground below still paralysed or they take zero fall damage....crafty eh ;) Well spotted neil :) Edited by Rick, May 6 2017, 03:18 PM.

Ah, well, that explains it. that's a really good job of editing, BTW. Seamless apparently without close examination. I do the same thing for the same reason. If I open my inventory during combat or loot a corpse, I usually edit that out unless I want to show where I got a particular item. I think I'm a little clumsier at it than you are though... :) Given a chance, I'd try to blame it on Microsoft's Movie Maker... but I don't know if I'd get away with it or not. |

Thanks. Editing is actually pretty tricky for me since I make the videos now on my phone screen.....However, like all things, once familiar it does get easier and its actually a lot better than M$ own editing suite on the Xbox. |

Okey dokey, A double bubble treat today ;) The entire Bleakfalls Barrow in two Acts Act one....the bandity bit Act two.....the nasty undead bit Now Act two IS very heavily edited....because the playthrough the tomb was an hour and twenty.....but my You Tube clip has to be under 15 minutes. I have tried my best to keep editing smooth and seemless....but if you notice a odd jump cut or two...well it couldn't be helped....towards completion I was literally scraping around slicing seconds off here and there! On the plus side it's certainly action packed ;) Act one... https://youtu.be/UMCW0SSDSsA Act two... https://youtu.be/LSfykJ2tEBQ Hope you like it :) Edit......re-uploaded Act 2 because I noticed a minute of sound dropout...fixed now :) Edited by Rick, May 7 2017, 08:25 PM.
