Maybe if Tubasha asks a Khajiit nicely they'll give her some sugar. ;) Somethin' about Tubasha always trying to be neighborly and nice first, but then . . . :teehee:

Keep her forever Neil no matter what!

Dang! No matter what I do, these videos won't show up on the page! I bear the curse of Youtube, and wear the chains I forged with videos...

Neil how do you 'save" your movies with the Movie maker?

This is the way I do it..

1) save ( name )

2) Publish movie ( make sure to use the "recent Setting's U-tube" or U-tube settings"..

3) Up load ( I use the Up load page from u-tube not the Movie maker u-tube up load link.

4) publish on Utube

5) play.. stop.. copy URL

6) paste into "Flash"

It works for me anyway...

???... What?
Now I'm the one confused...

Well, funny that! it wasn't that I was saving it in any particular way, it wasn't showing up because I used the URL provided by youtube when the vid's published.

Played the vid and saved the URL, and it worked fine! Thanks... :)

tried to see if it was the way you were putting the video in the flash player.. but I think it's the way it's uploaded... could be wrong.

Well, while Danae isn't truly a competition character, she IS a competition test character, so...

This video is dedicated to glargg, without whom I would almost certainly never have made this character or this video. He provided the inspiration and motivation to make this character succeed against all odds! Thanks, glargg!

This is a longish video, a hair less than 18 minutes... but doing the dungeon took me two hours of real time, so a lot had to be edited out.

Apparently the video doesn't want to play, so try this:
Orchendor Must Die

Neil,
Danae has a very bossy hair style :hubba: .....how can I be expected to keep my mind focused on the story ;)

The shock was more effective than I suspected. I was also suprised at how far those rune things can be cast. Those spiders were surprisingly dangerous to a mage....you can't just ignore them can you!

Extra....You know there is an 'Afflicted Vomit' shout mod! Complete with green goop. I intend to give it a go when the Contessa finishes her trial. It does the same poison damage as the Afflicted....just for a giggle.

Trace....
the WWE style body slam is a vanilla unarmed finisher move....it's what Adella does to the first four imperials in Helgen prior to grabbing the first mace weapon. You can't choose the slam however, sometimes she will just do the forearm smash to the face or the whole body lift and drop 'em on their head (neck breaker). But it always looks good don't it.

Being a mage of course, Danae is classed as unarmed weapon wise, so all her melee finishers will be of that style.

heh, magic vs automatons is a bit problematic. Automatons are 25% magic resistant, immune to paralyze, and immune to frost and flame. Lightning however does normal damage beyond the 25% magic resistance, of course.

The runes were augmented distance wise by a perk... "rune Master" that allows it to be placed five times farther away than the normal maximum. the advantage with the runes really is that you can set one, then wait for your magaicka to regenerate before initiating combat. It's kinda like getting a cost-free "fireball" spell.

Danae went to Riften and hunted down Gian the Fist. Once she had his gauntlets, she disenchanted them and then created a ring and a set of normal gloves with "Fortify Unarmed", and that allows her to use unarmed effectively and avoid skill increases in Heavy or Light Armor.

It's not really all THAT good, but unarmed base damage is 4 (for non-beast races) and she picks up another 14 from the ring and gloves for a total of 18 per hit. That's not bad though when you look at the speed of punching. I'm unsure of the damage value of power attacks, other than it gives you a flurry of three punches which add up in a hurry. :) She gets no damage increase from skill use, but I can increase the damage as her Enchant ability improves. For instance if she were to create a new ring right now, the damage would be twelve (4+8).

The kill cams are varied, and some are quite interesting. One of them that I've rarely seen was the standing kick to the body of a downed opponent, but Danae got one of those right off the bat against the afflicted.

From the UESP on Constructs:

"Dwarven automatons are not immune to shock, which actually causes them normal damage. They, instead, are immune to frost and poison, and are 25% resistant to magic."

I've often used fire against the constructs with great success! ;)

I've never used fire against them that I can recall. I guess I just presumed they would be immune to it.

It's funny the habits we get into though. In my normal game, automatons are 50% immune to fire, and immune to all weapons except hammers and maces...

I understand the concept .. of smashing weapons.. but.. metal melt's... and magic fire should do more damage rather than less.

Fire in the world of TES is a bit problematic though. Of course the question comes down to "Just how hot is magickal fire?"

It makes a great deal of difference, as does the metal involved. consider that the average automaton seems to built with armor plate. Then consider how long it might take you to disable a tank with a bic lighter...

More realistically though, I can kill a variety of creatures with my magical fire, but I can't burn the lock off of a door or chest. In fact, I can't even start a wooden door on fire, or start a campfire that is already laid. Beehives are, of course and exception, but only at Goldenglow... ;)

Then, automatons MUST be built to withstand heat, simply because their operation generates steam indicating some form of internal fire or heat. Which means an internal cooling system is probable to protect more combustible components (if indeed there are any such components).

True... I just tend to use fire more than any other magic.. cause it's a starter spell.. and all the characters have it.
