 Lupuaboy

After much testing everything appears to be stable with Steam and Skyrim thank the Divines (yes even Talos). ;)

Brambleberry

Jun Drunah
Breton
Male
Dwemer Clockwork Craftsman

Same mods as Dhark with the addition of the Monster Mod which will make things a wee bit more difficult, but HEY, that's part of the fun!

Jun is going to be sneakier than Dhark with a focus on ranged attack and misdirection. Gotta make sure everyone's looking the other way as he makes his way out of the dungeon holding the prized artifacts! :ninja:

And so it begins . . .

P.S. LAL left for dead. duh duh DUNNNNHHHHH!!!!

I decided to mix it up for Jun and do the Left for Dead LAL start. As soon as the splash screen with the Riekling appeared on my screen I knew this was going to be a fun character. Thank the Divines we a) start on Novice, b) he's a sneaky fella and c) as the operator I knew a semi-safe path to Raven Rock.

As Jun made his way to Raven Rock he came across the dead Dunmer at a small mining camp. Snagged his pickaxe, mined the 2 emerald veins, picked up the gold ore scattered about and was able to use the Dunmer's lockpick to open the novice chest for a few gem goodies.

There was one tense moment along Jun's path when he came upon an unexpected pack of 3 men in trousers patting pack-and-forth. Jun had to do a loop around them to make it to Raven Rock and managed a sneak skill up in the process.

*For those that don't know those 3 Trouserettes are added by the Monster mod and are actually cuddly werebears. Werebears, Where? Bears? Men that are Bears?*

Jun has spent some time in the Raven Rock vicinity picking ingredients to make potions to sell. The 250 gold the ship captain wants seems a bit steep, but Jun is certain he wouldn't survive even a day on Solstheim without proper gear supplies and definitely a major honing of his skills.

He may have to sell some of the gems and ore he found, but he is reluctant to do so and would rather make enough gold creating potions even if they really aren't that useful to anyone. After seeing the strange goings on at the nearby shrine Jun has decided to not even spend a night here and is working with the local apothecary's alchemy station with great haste!

I think the three werebears are vanilla, Bram. I've had dealings with them in the past, and I run no monster mods.

Ditto on the werebears... I think they were part of the DB DLC and may have been either just a new foe....or they werr meant to be like werewolves... but it never got implemented. . For the PC

Errr and I have 35 hrs...if I get my Tar'Ben back...if not, 40hrs...

Hmmm I've never come across them before and I've traveled that path many a time. Perhaps I just got the "lucky" RNG spawn because it's a comp. ;)

I run into those 3 a lot, but tend to travel the coast lines instead of going crosscountry... on lower lvl characters. ..

Even Adella has had a taste of the three Werebears.....in comp Round One. Tough buggers too....they turn back into men upon death....a nice touch.

We encountered them just up the short track behind the RR smelter. At the same time as an Ancient Dragon attacked and landed there. Good job Capt. thingy in the Bonemold outfit was on hand to take some of the heat.

So yeah...vanilla :)

Good going all!

Neil, you're doing great :thumb:

Kane. Go for it! I'm actually hoping someone can top Dwemsey. She was an absolute monster after mid 30's, even on Legendary. Of course what did I expect with a build that doesn't get hit much, is in full Dragonscale, has a bow that did 666 damage and has a fully tricked out dual wielding follower. During the final push in Solstheim it finally sunk in that I was just going through the motions, and as Neil would say where's the fun in that.

I've actually started Orcestra as a fun only character to somewhat retrace Dwemsey's route and experience it as I probably should have... melee and more close combat. It is already a different world!

I know I won't get all t he ruins or even half of them done... my play style is to slow and when I leave it, my characters die. . So, slow and steady for me... start again tomorrow or the next day... I have to download all the mods I am missing atm...

Yeah, I'm slow, too. That's why I decided not to continue with the zombie. If I start rushing, I get too far out of my level of competence. :)

On the three werebears...My very first Skyrim character was "helped" by them. A dragon attacked her, right up where Rick described, and during the course of the fight he saw them a short distance away, and flew off to attack them. They helped kill the dragon, but two of them were killed, and Bettilda had no trouble dealing with the survivor.

Umm, I'm just trying to keep Corden alive! This DiD stuff... He's gone farther than I thought I'd get, and he'll keep on until... At any rate, here's his stats. (plus a different pic in the link)

Jun was on his way back from Ivarstead having resolved the young lovers problems when he chanced upon three nords making merry.

A very appreciative Reveler

On his way back to Whiterun Jun investigated the goings on at Helgen. He rescued Ralof and they made their way to Riverwood. After relating the story of the dragon attack Hod was overly excited about knowing what the dragon was like. Jun gave Hod a dose of reality which brought him up short.

Hod not so keen on seeing a dragon after all

Jun making his way to see Calcelmo stopped to take in the beauty of Understone Keep.

Well, talk about a huge waste of time... Al followed the TG quests all the way to the moment of having to swear the oath to Nocturnal, and then she said something like "What, and spend eternity hanging out in this damp and dirty cave waiting for someone or something to defend it and it's huge horde of nothing against? NO FREAKING WAY!"

With that, she left karliyah and Brynjolf standing there looking stupid in their ultimately stupid-looking nightingale armor. As far as Al is concerned, they can just stand there forever, pretending they're guarding an empty freaking cave... MORONS!

I guess that means she won't be doing Irpedinhand... but it's not like she cares at all anyway, I suppose, and she might find some use for pieces of the armor... although it's really not very good.

"Nightingales"... Bah, "DODO"s is more like it! Better to trade your soul for second-hand chewing gum... but then of course you wouldn't have an excuse to kick ass, eh? ;)

Gaius has planned on skipping the thieves guild altogether. Not a fan. Shame you went through the whole questline.
