Leaving Troll genitalia swinging in the breeze for a moment, Aahni has completed "Lost to the Ages", cleared Bthalft, and has added the Aetherial Crown along with a couple of Centurion Dimmo Cores to her booty list.

Oh, and now she's running the Lord and the Lady Stones. She could have really used the Steed, but in the end decided against it.

Uhh... and she lost ANOTHER damned horse. Leaving the College, she was on the high bridge when I (stupidly) decided to check her gear to see if I wanted to stop at Brina's for a little trading.

When I closed the inventory, the stupid horse immediately turned a 90 degree right and leaped off the bridge. Talk about terrifying! I thought she was going to die, but she landed on a small ledge (I'll show it to you later) hurt but still among the living. Skyrim hates horses, and horses in Skyrim are too stupid to live. There shoudn't BE any horses in Skyrim, because obviously, they are too stupid to live long enough to breed...

Okay, I posted a short video (42 seconds) showing where Aahni ended up...
Aahni, High and Dry

Just wondering, "Applied Static Charge"... Is that like dragging your feet on the carpet? ;)

Actually I have no clue... I use the spell for the resist and absorb.. haven't as yet used it with an NPC close or enemy touch it... It takes most of her Magicka.. and with out the ring that she just got, could not caste it at all.. now it's cast the spell ( electrify, Molten core or Icy veil ) chug a potion of magicka and have just enough to caste Flame Atronach.. which is a needed distraction for Dreugh and their conjured mudcrabs.. ( one dropped a sabre cat in one pinch!)

I used to think that sabrecats were pretty tough... then I watched a few of them try to fight mudcrabs...

Maybe it's just the geldings that are suicidal, and for some reason that thought brings me back to non-vanilla trolls, and I wish I hadn't gone there... ;)

Oh, and what's the scoring plan for Blackreach? Are we scoring for the various locations there, or is there some standard for "cleared" there?

I think we had discussed tallying the various zones you enter inside Blackreach. War Quarters, etc.

I believe that is what we conclusion we came to.

Aftland... it's own area

The Ruined city...has 4 parts :
-Hall of Rumination
-Debate Hall
-Pumping Station
-Silent City Catacombs

The North side has two buildings:
-Reeking Tower
-Silent Run

Th South side has 3 area's:
-Derelict Pumphousse
-Farm Overseer's House
-War quarters

They aren't large area's, but could make Blackreach count as 3 area's.. or as each which is 10..Aftland not included

On the South side of old Blackreach,
In the baddest part of town,
If you go down there,
You better just beware,
Of the Bad Guys hanging 'round...

Does the unofficial patch fix that glitch in Blackreach with the Mzinchaleft elevator room? I remember playing on 360 that you could enter the gatehouse, and when you exited, Blackreach would be lit up like it was daytime.

Hmmm never had that in SLE with or without the Unofficial patch. I miss out on all the fun glitches! ;)

I admit, I used it to my advantage more than once. It makes exploring much easier when you can see everything plain as day.

Though it may not look like it from my pictures.. the setting's i am using make all the cave's and ruin's light enough to see.. but I always keep a lantern on Lyn anyway, not used unless need's be.. I never had that glitch on 360 or PC.. but PC I had the un-official patches from day 1... err that is they were my very 1st download when I got my PC.

I just checked on the UESP, and is listed under Blackreach bugs, still.

Attempting to exit at Mzinchaleft and immediately returning can cause Blackreach to have normal daylight or even snowy weather, just like any area above ground.

Wow, never had that glitch on either the 360 or pc! Snowy Blackreach...that would be crazier than a lit one I think! :D

Posting now, but I'll fix it up later (need to head out the door in the next 15 minutes and yet to shower)

Entering:
Melinda
Breton
Female
Arcane Warrior

Alternate Start: Left for Dead, Steamcrag camp (more friendly than expected....until the wolves)

She has made a good start, almost level 3. Wiped out a few packs of roving wolves and goblins, raided a chest on a peak with a growly wall guarded only by a few bone-walkers and landed herself a full set of heavy armour (minus the helmet), currently has pockets full of jazbay grapes and headed to Sarethi Farm.

I am using mods, full mod list will be provided in a few hours when I get home, Suffice to say I have no idea which mod it is, but one of them makes wolves have 100+ health and ASIS makes them packs of 4-9....good job I started on Novice and grabbed a bunch of potions off the goblins or I wouldn't have made it this far.

Got a couple of hours play over the past 2 days. Real life is just being an interfering butthead! :meh:

Dhark has visited and emptied Reachwind Eyrie. Arkngthamz is cleared with Zephyr successfully recovered (I do NOT like tight rope walks even if it's a big ass tree!). Dhark considered letting the Centurion out by screwing up the door combo, but decided he could always come back later and do that. Currently Dhark has the shards from Arkngthamz and the Mzulft Store house. He's heading out to obtain the next two shards.

Dhark had just leveled to 20 and switched to adept prior to his arrival at Arkngthamz. His mastery of Destruction proved quite useful with chain lightning to take out Falmer from around corners and bends that he used to hide from their arrows. The chaurus ignored Dhark because Kyne had blessed him earlier with The Voice of the Sky. Dhark decided he would pay a visit to the Glidergreen Tree in Whiterun out of respect.

*I still need to update Dhark's spreadsheet before posting stats. Thoroughly enjoying this round, thanks for the idea Areial it's definitely turning into my favorite comp theme to date!*
