Ash has followed the rabbit down its proverbial hole. The hole having the name of Raldbathar! Waiting at the lift to the Deep Market and very thankful that he'd stocked up on his supply of health potions he thought about the automatons in the dwemer ruin which hit fast and hit hard! Determined to find the final piece of Aetherium and help Katria complete her work Ash assessed his situation. Greatly concerned that he may run out of health potions before achieving his goal here in Raldbathar he contemplated turning back. But if he could find an alchemy station he would be good to continue. The trip back out would be arduous and the nearest place was Windhelm. Maybe he'd go just a little further before turning back . . . |

Ash was saved by the Falmer! Crazy I know, but the Falmer were easy enough to deal with his axes and a poison once in a while for the tougher ones. But it was their magic users that gave Ash the edge with the automatons. He'd looted three different staves off the falmer. One cast lightning bolts, the other a stream of frost and the last one what appeared to be firebolts! Ash never engaged the Centurion in hand-to-bigass hammer hand combat. Instead he kited about the area by first slowing the centurion with the frost stave, hitting him with firebolts and then lightning bolts. He thought he might have to try and recharge one of the staves in mid fight, but the Centurion finally fell with one last lightning bolt. Ash started to enter the next area, but could see Katria fighting more automatons ahead, so he took a moment to charge staves and readied himself for yet another foray with the metal monsters. When it was all done he took the last piece of Aetherium from its resting place and in true ghost fashion Katria said she would meet him at the Forge and then promptly vanished. Ash was fairly certain where the Forge was located. Based on Katria's journal entry it sounded like the dwarven ruins near Ivarstead with the odd gyro like astralobe mounted as a centerpiece and it corresponded to the location she had marked on her map. Ash exited the lift to the surface, breathed in the cold night air and decided to sleep the night at the lower part of Raldbathar where he'd dispatched three bandits earlier before ever entering the ruins; funny that seemed like a lifetime ago already. Thanks Sere. :) I was wondering how he was going to deal with the Centurion. Ash hasn't had much luck finding useful magical items. Everything has been for skills he doesn't use or only melee oriented. Finding those staves changed the entire play through, that is, much less clenching of the buttocks! :teehee: |

Awesome! A'Darien was having the same problem.. not finding the thing's he neeed to really get going... like he couldn't even caste the "flame Atronach" spell as he didn't have enough Magicka... and I needed all the level ups to be in health.. cause.. difficulty... then boom a ring of + cheap and then a found necklace... and staves up the buttock's! he's now in business! |

Trechtus met an untimely demise at the hands of the Halted Stream Bandit Chief....my stupid mistake, switched spells mid-fight from a concentration to fire-and-forget...then backed straight into a corner He was level 6 and 2 hours in with 3 books found. I always forget how the non-adept difficulties nerf the damage you do, even if it is only a little bit on Expert Re-rolling as: Indoril Helseth (Named for two of his [supposed] ancestors, reputed to be great leaders in their time) Dark Elf Male skills: Heavy Armour One Handed Smithing Alchemy Block Destruction Edit: left for dead start (alftand base camp) Indy has had a good start already, woke up to 4 bandits trying to stick him with their swords. He managed to get out of reach and melt the face off one of his pursuers before he ran out of magic. Leading the other 3 on a merry chase he darted all around the tower, passing by the corpse a few times to grab himself a helmet (with convenient horn-handles), a steel sword and last a pair of hastily pulled off gloves. Indy managed to dispatch 2 more of the bandits and was retreating backwards from the last one when the whole world tipped sideways....as he backed straight off the cliff. Azura must have been looking out for him as he landed on the brassy spire of a dwarven tower, not 10 feet from the walkway. He scrambled back to more solid ground and unleashed flame and blade onto the final bandit. He now stands victorious admiring the view in iron boots, gauntlets and helm, steel sword and bonemold guard armour Edited by Poncho, Oct 30 2017, 01:09 PM.

Too bad about Trechtus. Good luck, Indy! Brynhildr killed that bandit yesterday, retrieving Amren' family sword. Put a sneak arrow into his knee from the "balcony," and then shot down one of the "oil lamps." Finished off the survivors while backpedaling up the slope. (Was it only yesterday? So much has happened in the "real world" since.) |

Jeetum-Jin suddenly shifted perspectives, realizing those that he had trusted around him weren’t to be trusted anymore. As if somebody had switched a switch his old memories were disremembered. He turned on his former peers and dismembered them suddenly. Jeetum-Jin decided to head straight for the nearest city. Before even having exerted much effort at all his walk was cut short by a Rift Guard. Off to the prison for Jeetum-Jin, something he had known to be a likely possibilty in his current course of action. Jeetum-Jin Gets Ready For A New Adventure Spoiler: click to toggle Whiterun, huh? House mods with space for everything: First and foremost - Legacy of the Dragonborn Alternatively - any one of Cynndal's places; both Cliffside Cottage and Lake Haven are REALLY nice Also - Revak Rift. I'd post links, but nexus isn't wanting to load for me tonight. |

Well for comp purposes and not changing your load order so nothing mucks up just use the chest behind Ysolda's house for now. When you get a HF home up with the small house you'll have the chest right away! ;) |

Any wardrobe, dresser, or end table is safe storage; they don't respawn. Several of my characters have lived in the Alchemist's Shack near Ivarstead, or the Helgen Inn (you have to occasionally deal with bandits there.) |

I like to use the furniture at Dragon's reach.. if you do at least the 1st part of the MQ.. food is "free" and the storage is safe.. and their's enough of it in the kitchen alone to have good separation of items.. I leave smithing stuff in the chest behind Ysolda's... Sis for competition's moded houses aren't allowed.. I know we never say it..and it should probably be in the "set" rules.. but it's always been that way... I guess we never actually "think" about it now. |

That is in the rules, Areial. Also, thanks for telling me some places where I could safely storage some of the rewards. But I think I'll just work a bit and get a house :) |
