Put the attached file in the FISS folder inside the Plugins folder in the SKSE folder in your Data folder. Then you can tweak the other stuff that's shown if you don't want it set up like I have it.

You are a gem! :D

I'll have to check it out when I get home. Work network won't let me DL it.

Figures. Sheesh. Gotta love Big Brother.... not. If you want I can just put the stuff into the reply screen, then you can copy and save to a file named as above.

OIC... A Rolex for the Intrepid Barbarian... :D

Sorry, no offense meant, eh? It just strikes me as funny... I spend half of my time trying to get things off of my screen, so I just can't imagine adding mods that put yet another thing on display for me to try to get rid of in time to take a nice screenie or video shot. :)

It's the only thing on my screen, actually. It lives in the upper left corner, and displays not only that very cool astrolabe in color, but the current year month and day in game plus the moon phase and season Icon; and the current date and time IRL.

Like I said, I meant no offense.... and it's really very lovely, if you're into that sort of thing I suppose. For me, RL date and time is always visible on my computer even with the game running, and in-game time is only one key press away... but I usually don't care what game-time it is in any case.

It just strikes me as incongruous to be living the medeival life with a time-piece. To me, the notion of living without a clock is ideal... and one of the huge attractions of the Skyrim sort of RPG.

It is pretty, I generally don't even have a compass up, no health/ magicka/ stamina bars, crosshair only on aim.

But next time we so a timed competition I might have to use that... cause I always manage to forget to start my stopwatch.... so I add a minute...or 5...

There were timepieces in the 14th century - so certainly during the Medieval era (late in same admittedly).

However, I'm not into immersion. I'm into fun and pretty.

I like having the game-time up there, since I slow the time scale down to 10. It gives me a more accurate idea of what I can and can't do, before I need to pitch a tent.

I use 10 with LotD, 8 otherwise. 8 can cause some timing and sequencing issues with LotD.

It truly is A Matter of Time in my world so I have both in-game and real world times displayed. Have to make sure my older brother is up M/W/F at noon (works nights) to go to dialysis. Take the mum for an outing at 1:30PM (lunch idiots mostly gone and we see the most planes at the airport and in the sky, she luvs them). Then, depending on how he's feeling I need to get my brother up for work around 7:30 or 8 PM. I even set my damned timer cuz lost in other worlds sometimes. :D

Lunch with mum sounds nice. I always look forward to stuff like that with my folks.

I swear, clocks have stolen half of my life... If I wear a watch, I'm OCD about it being right... I mean, synch with the atomic clock at least once a day sort of stuff. I haven't worn a watch in years.

I kinda like the "When the sun is standing tall and his shadow is short, make lunch." sort of timekeeping. or maybe "When darkness causes you to walk into a tree go to bed... if you can find it..." Of course, I once tried to find my way to bed by folowing the sound of giggling. I shoulda known it wasn't my wife, eh? ;)
