I know. But some romance wouldn't hurt, eh? :P Good to know! I'm having fun writing it and playing. I'm just hoping everything goes smoothly until the end. Changed the above story. Thought it was too rushed, so I wanted to add a bit more. Edited by Richard, Mar 24 2018, 10:05 AM.

Jenassa was waiting for him near the gate. She was talking to the blacksmith, most likely seeing if she could get better armor. Drahcir waved at her and Jenassa looked, waving back. He had acquired an elven shield of great quality the day before, which was resting on his back. - Have you checked your equipment? - He asked. - We might spend some time on the road, so I got us some supplies. - Equipment has been checked and provisions have been bought. - She replied, raising her eyebrow. - I trust that you've done the same? Drahcir nodded. That was the first thing he did when he walked out of the inn. - Shall we go? Windhelm is still a long way from here, so we must hurry. With hurried steps, they hurried to their horses and put everything they could in their puches. His horse was already overloaded and he couldn't bear to make the creature suffer, so he walked, with his horse following behind and Jenassa on his right. They had a few encounters, which were: A sabercat, which gave quite the scare do Drahcir but luckely, Jenassa was there. She threw a dagger and pierced his throat, while Drahcir sumbled back. The animal fell on him, dead. Jenassa laughed at his embarassment and helped him with the animal. A jester with a cart, near a farm, that required some help with his wheel. Drahcir helped him change it and went on his way, with an extra coin purse. An ice wraith. Thankfully, Drahcir knew a fire spell, which he used. Jenassa looked at him surprised, as she never suspected he knew magic. She asked where he had learned it. He replied that he always knew them, ever since he was a baby. He laughed, and told her the trouble that his parents had when the spell got randomly cast. they both shared a laugh and kept on their way. Some bandits that were outside an old nordic ruin. They were quickly dispatched and looted. There were a lot of places near the roads, but they dared not to go near them, lest them be haunted. They decided to rest and stay the night at a small village called Heljarchen, where they spoke to the local blacksmith and went to the inn, where Drahcir offered to play some music for two rooms. The innkeeper agreed and Drahcir played two songs, one for each room. When he was done, he headed to his room and took off his armor. He really needed some sleep. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Morning dawned and the innkeeper woke him up. Drahcir thanked the innkeeper and gave himself a quick wash, cleaned his armor and weapons and got dressed. When he was done, he saw that Jenassa was already eating her breakfast. Drahcir ordered some food and joined her, while they discussed their plans and what they'd do in Windhelm. After they were done eating, they set off to the city. They encountered a snowy saber cat along the road, an ice wraith and a very hurried Vigilant of Stendarr. Drahcir looked at the Vigilant who ran past him with sadness. He wanted to ask how to join their order, but he guessed he needed a reputation first. Or just luck. He passed through a mill and, after a talk with the mill owner, he agreed to do a simple job for her. He just needed to go to Dawnstar, which was on his travel plans. Near the city, he found what looked like an imperial mission scouting gone wrong. There were four imperial soldiers dead, and a few stormcloak soldiers standing over them. He looked away and kept on his way. He looked, marveled by the beauty of Windhelm. A beautiful stone bridge was beneath their feet, guiding them towards the city. The walls that surrounded the bridge were old, it was noticable. Drahcir passed his hand on them and he could feel how worned down they were, due to the wind and cold. He shivered and hurried through the gates. Inside the walls, it was even prettier than outside. He heard someone talking racial slurs and turned to them. Two nords harassing a dark elf women. He quickly broke them up and asked if she was alright, to which the woman nodded, replying that he was in the wrong city, because only racists lived here. He nodded and took a mental note, asking where the inn was. She pointed at the building in front of them and he thanked her, giving 20 septims to her. He turned to Jenassa and said to meet him at the inn, when night fell. She nodded and Drahcir went on his way, buying food, arrows, potions and seeing if the blacksmith had anything worth buying. When he was satisfied, he headed back to the inn and made the same agreement he did last night. He'd play two songs for two rooms, to which the innkeeper agreed. And so, he played, while drinking some mead and telling some stories of his adventures. Everyone was happy and laughing and bottles were being emptied one after another. When he was done for the night, the innkeeper even payed him. It seems that she he had brought her over 200 septims that night alone. She offered him a permanent room and 50 septims every night if he stayed. Drahcir was tempted, but he refused, saying he already had a plan. The innkeeper nodded and pointed to his room, while thanking him. He followed her directions and took off his armor, collapsing on the bed and falling asleep. Are you using "Become a Bard" or just roleplaying it off the top of your head? Very good read! |

Actually using it! I love the mod but it's sad that it doesn't offer a proper bard questline. Ey, so do I! It's almost a must-have for me, to be honest. |

Well, yes. It is too bad there's not an in-built quest line. If I had any idea how to do one, I bet I could come up with a doozy. I mean, I could write a quest line for Become a Bard, no problems there. But I have no idea how to make it using the CK. |

He found Jenassa near the fireplace, warming herself. He smiled and patted her on the back, which startled her. This time the roles were inversed, as he laughed at her embarrassment, while asking forgiveness for frighting her. She shook it off and asked when were they going. He responded, saying he was gonna have a bite and go talk to the court wizard to see if he had any spell books for sale. He came out with three spell tomes. Two for lightning and one to turn undead. He started to read them and decided he'd try to cast them outside of town, lest the guards think there was an attack and arrest him. They exited Windhelm and made their way to Winterhold, where the famous College was. Drahcir was excited to enter the college and to learn what existed there. He imagined Winterhold was big, due to the college bringing new people. He shook his head to clear his ideas and kept walking with Jenassa beside him and their horses behind. They only encountered some necromancers in an abandoned fort near the road. They had to shoot them with arrows, unfortunately. They needed to buy new ones once they reached Winterhold. Nearing Winterhold, he saw the college. It was glorious and big but... Its bridge was destroyed. He looked below the college and saw the town with many houses destroyed. He asked Jenassa what had happened, and she told him of the Great Collapse and what had happened. He was in shock but shook it off. He talked to the locals and headed to the college. There was no guard outside but he wasn't surprised. From what he learned from the locals, everyone feared the college and knew to stay away from them. He went inside the building and asked one of the students where the library was and headed inside. Once there, he asked the librarian if he could read some books, to which the librarian nodded, pointing that, if a book had so much as a scratch on them, he'd have to pay for a hundred of them. Drahcir began reading, delighted. He pointed some points of interest in his map, to explode whenever he got brave enough to venture off the roads. He looked through the windows and saw that the moon was high. He didn't notice the time fly, with all the book reading. He looked around for Jenassa but remembered she went to the inn and so, he headed there. For playing some tunes, he got themselves a bed, where he fell asleep, thinking of the next day. Sad moment for me. While trying to save the game, I accidentally overrode the only save I had for another character. It's fine, thought. That char was too overpowered and I wasn't having much fun with it but still, sad. Edited by Richard, Mar 25 2018, 03:48 PM.

There were some students training and Drahcir went to them, asking if he could train inside the building, to which they nodded and kept practicing. He grabbed his tomes and, studying closely, he figured what he had to do. He focused his magicka and shot, producing a perfect lighting bolt on his first try. He stumbled back, surprised. He then tried sparks, which resulted in the same perfection. Again, he tried with the turn undead spell and it looked like it was, again, perfect, but there was no way of knowing if it'd work without a specimen. Satisfied, he packed the tomes in his backpack and headed to the inn, where Jenassa was waiting. He spoke to her and told her to eat, if she hadn't already, while he dressed his armor. Armor dressed and with food in their belly, they set off to Dawnstar, where he had a letter to deliver to the Jarl. When they were leaving, they overheard some guards talk about the Dawnguard, a vampire hunting group. The fort was located near Riften, it seemed. Drahcir was already imagining himself killing vampires with Jenassa. He shook his head and kept on their path, while they talked about joining it and when they should go. They figured they'd go after Morthal. Their journey to Dawnstar was uneventful, with the exception of some bandits and a dead mammoth. He found a khajiit caravan outside town, and decided to talk to them. One of them had his amulet stolen and Drahcir said that, if he found it, he would return it. The khajiit thanked him and Drahcir proceeded to the Jarl, where he delivered the message of the mill owner. The Jarl seemed to be talking to some Imperials, so he waited until they were done. After delivering the message, the Jarl awarded him with 400 coin. "Gonna spend it on food and drinks", Drahcir thought, heading to the inn. He was approached by a men, inside the inn. He said he was a vigilant of Stendarr and they were trying to recruit people to their cause. Drahcir asked if he could join and the man took a step back, taking a good look at him. He nodded and the man told him to follow him. As he passed, Drahcir knew his adventures were only beginning. VIGILANT questline started, and that's what Drahcir is gonna start doing. I've never done it and I hope it doesn't bug or make my game crash. I'm off to play, thought. I'll update the story whenever I have enough written. Edited by Richard, Mar 25 2018, 03:48 PM.

This is a list of the Mod's I have... I thought one was an overhaul.. could have sworn.....idk.. Graduate the Bards College ( I don't think it's on Nexus.. Become a Bard Anduniel's songbook expansion. Bards College Tweaks and Become a Bard of course.. I know,.. I know I had one more mod.. Become a Bard add's playing for Jarls.. and you DO get an additional quest.. but I think you have to be at 100 in Bard Skill, But the mod I am thinking about added fetch Quests.. I have a bunch of "Deleted Files" and I know I did not delete them, cause if I had their are several others that would have went the way of the Dodo... |

Jenassa and Drahcir looked at each other and followed the man along the road until they reached a tunnel. The man proceeded to enter and they did the same, coming out into a wide open space, where a fort resided. It was amazing. Constructed with stone, it had an enormous size and it was simply beautiful. Drahcir looked in awe at it for a while, and proceeded to enter. The inside was as impressive. Well illuminated, well furnished, with many members inside doing chores... - You should speak to Thorondir. - The man said, waking Drahcir from his daydreaming. - He's the master of this fort. Drahcir nodded and spoke to him. He thanked Drahcir for joining and said to speak to Altano, the name of the man that recruited him. He asked Altano to tell him about the temple, which he did and explained every room and their purpose and when he was done visiting the library or sleeping, that he should come to him for a job. He nodded and went to visit the library, staying there for hours until he was sleepy. He told Jenassa to sleep in the other bed and he fell on his bed, falling asleep shortly after. Edit: some stuff was wroooooong! I wrote "denutor" two times... Damn. I think I'm getting a little burned out of this, so I'm gonna take a break and maybe play a new character or play Oblivion, dunno. There'll be more updates tomorrow, though.
