Drahcir jumped down, followed by Jenassa. Altano was waiting for them and told them to try and be silent. They nodded and started walking down some stairs. Jacob was at the end of them and they hurried, trying to be as silent as they could.

-What happened, Jacob? - Altano asked.

- We were attacked by the summoner. Everyone is dead, except me. - He replied, clearly in pain. - Again... Again, I'm the only one who survived...

- The Daedra called her 'Bal'. - He continued, struggling to breath. - Such a sinister name... She must be serving Molag Bal. Her goal can only be the Altar undergrownd.

- Altar? What altar? What do you mean? - Drahcir spoke.

- There is an ancient altar of Molag bal under the Beacon. She's trying to do something terrible, we must stop her! - Jacob coughed and tried to get up, only to end up losing his strength and falling back to the ground.

Altano said he'd scout ahead while Drahcir helped Jacob. He nodded and turned to Jacob, telling him to be still, as he was going to heal him a bit, just so he could recover some strength. While Drahcir healed him, Jacob told him about the women. He told Drahcir she looked like his dead wife, which he was sure to be a trap by the Daedric prince, and that her magicka was powerful. Drahcir, curious, asked how his wife died. Jacob looked away in shame and said that, when he was dying, Molag Bal appeared in front of him and told him he could heal him, in exchange for the soul of his dead wife, which he accepted, he said in a strange voice. Drahcir stopped healing and looked at him, seeing his tears fall. He imagined that every action he did weighted on him and how it wounded him. He shook his head, "Everyone has times of weakness and desperation. Unfortunately, Molag ball took advantage of yours. Don't wallow in self pity for a moment of weakness", Drahcir told him and looked around. "We better get going and follow Altano, he's probably waiting for us".

The way down was... sinister. There were weird noises and everything was dark. Drahcir had to pull out his flask so he could see. While going down the tunnel, Jacob started losing it, mumbling weird things. Drahcir shrugged it off, thinking it was the nerves getting to him, who knows. They arrived at a weird bridge and door, where Altano was. He greeted them and told them to unsheathe their weapons and stay on guard from now on. Drahcir and Jenassa nodded, and did what they were told, following him.

It was supposed to be longer buuuuut my game crashed when I was writing and I just said "fuck it, I'll do it later".

Hmmm... I don't think I'd be all that forgiving of Jacob, personally... That's just me, of course.

Drahcir didn't forgive him, Neil. It's just that it wasn't the time to scold him or anything, seeing as the summoning lady really near. Drahcir thinks that what he did was really wrong, more so because vigilants of stendarr are supposed to protect everyone from the daedra, even if that means that they'll die, and knowing that jacob let someone die for him...

Not sure when the next update will be, possibly next weekend. School started and I feel like I don't have the patience to write (at least today). We'll see.

I've been enjoying ESO a lot and I'm putting a lot of time into it. I don't know when the next update will be, but this story isn't going to end. Might write a lot next weekend, might not. I'm not sure. (And I think I really needed a break from Skyrim.)

Well, seems like the character did "die". My pc died a few hours ago (currently using a substitute one), so I can't really play it anymore. Not even sure if this pc can handle oblivion, so yeah.

Yup. This backup pc can't even run Oblivion!
At least I can play some old games that I have on CD and watch some videos until I get the money to fix it :(
