Jace: page 6 Jacelyn slipped the last bottle of Honnigbrew Mead into her loot bag. It made a soft clink as it came to rest against its fellows. She eased the strap over her shoulder, then staggered as she tried to stand up under its weight. Dammit, I need to get this all back in one haul. Why did I wait so long to start shopping for Saturalia? “By order of the Jarl, stop right there!” Jace squinted in the guard’s torchlight. “Heh. Hello, officer.” “You have committed crimes against Skyrim and her people. What say you in your defense?” The wrong reply would earn Jace a trip to jail or a beating followed by a trip to jail, depending on how much she offended him. The right one would cost her some gold, a short time on her knees, or possibly a much longer and more unpleasant time behind the meadery. With the guard’s closed helm it was impossible to guess what this one might want. She supposed that was a point in favor of closed helms. “Um…” Jace stalled for time. As much as she hated crawling back to Vorstag torn and shivering, she disliked giving up hard-won coin even more. Especially around the holidays. The guard took a step forward. “I’ll pay!” she squeaked. “How much is the fine?” “Good enough. I’ll just confiscate any stolen goods you’re carrying, then you’re free to go.” Jace blinked. By Mara, I’m an idiot. “Here you go, sir. The whole bag is full of stolen property. Honnigbrew’s finest meads. Whoops, see it’s heavy!” She walked at the guard’s side as he hauled her loot all the way back to Whiterun and up the many stairs to the Dragonsreach Dungeon where she cheerfully paid the fine. Or as she decided to think of it, the delivery fee. Usually she would have Vorstag carry anything heavier than a handful of jewels, but she was at the meadery shopping for him and wants his Saturalia presents to be a surprise. It was a simple matter to slip in during the shift change and retrieve her bag from the evidence chest. Then it was downhill all the way to where she and Vorstag were nesting at the Bannered Mare for the holidays. The holiday spirit had really gotten to her. Last night when she discovered that she was cleaning out a child’s room, she put the kid’s clothes back and added a long taffy treat and a copy of Kolb and the Dragon that she had stolen from another house earlier that night to his belongings. She made a mental note to check her stash for a copy of The Lusty Argonian Maid. The kid might like that book and a couple bottles of ale instead. Jace was always in favor of folks joining her on the Naughty List. Once Jace hid her gifts in the end table farthest away from the snoring Vorstag, she jogged back down through the freezing night to buy moon sugar from Ri’saad outside Whiterun’s gate. Jacelyn is a natural alchemist and has a decent hand with skooma cooking. Now she had all of the ingredients she needed, and she knew where she could steal a pipe. Vorstag could be a lot of fun on skooma. Of course his long-term prospects would suffer. Jace was not one to think twice or care much about what happened after tomorrow, but this time she hesitated. The thought of Vorstag withered down to skin and bone kind of turned her stomach. And not just because she usually needed his brawn to haul all of her stolen junk back to the fence. On the walk back to warmth and her sleeping companion, Jace planned her next target. Windhelm. It had been a while since she went on a crime spree there, so the shop keepers should have had a chance to fill up their shelves again. That meant a carriage ride there and a long, cold walk back to Whiterun afterward. It’s a bad idea to ride public transportation with packs full of hot merchandise, and Jacelyn still has not found her horse. Also she has business with this Sam near there. No skooma until after Windhelm, Jace decided. I’m going to get Vorstag to beat the living hells out of him for all of this trouble. |

Ooooo, what a good bad girl she is! Sneaky - but love the part about getting in the holiday spirit and giving the kid's clothes back plus the book! Very fun to read! |

There's something liberating about playing a character with sticky fingers. It's especially interesting that she "relocates" stolen goods. |

Thanks, folks! I was playing a rather grim and focused treasure hunter (the retired Julia Leroque) along with Jace’s early game, and this naughty lass was a breath of fresh air every time she popped winking onto the screen. I’m still never sure what she’ll do. I think I’ll pick up the pace a little to catch up with her game and her Beth updates. I’m confusing myself having her in two times at once. :scared: |

Jace: page 7 Jacelyn’s Saturalia ‘shopping’ for Vorstag took far longer than she planned. Also she stole way more mead than she needed plus there was a lot of sweet, stolen Alto wine to drink, so they spent the winter holidays crashed out at the Bannered Mare. There was a lot of traffic through their room due to the public balcony on the other side of it, so Jace had to be careful with her loot. Somehow folks could recognize the items that they formerly owned even when they were downstairs. Jace is pretty good at talking her way out of these misunderstandings, but Vorstag has a ‘kill first, ask questions never’ policy that tends to complicate matters. Various tavern patrons have witnessed some debauchery on their way through Jacelyn’s room, so she has taken steps to repair her image as an innocent young mage-alchemist. It seems to be working. A child admired her wizard robes yesterday, and the guards ask her to brew them an ale rather than mentioning her flexibility, inventiveness, or capacity for strong drink. While Jacelyn’s loot sack gets heavier, her heart just keeps getting lighter. Saturalia for Jace the scullery maid in High Rock meant long hours with little reward. She could look forward to fabric for a new apron from her Mama, an ill-fitting dress handed down from one of the household’s plump and pretty daughters, and every three years a new pair of shoes. The best part was passing out on her pallet just before dawn, exhausted but tanked on scrounged and pilfered table wine. This year Jacelyn has a new dress, new shoes, and plenty of stolen wine still in the bottle. She’s warm in her rented bed and never too tired to screw. Happily Vorstag seems content to loll around the Bannered Mare while Jacelyn goes out at night to work. She is improving her sleight-of-hand by pulling pranks on the local citizens. So far she has been able to talk her way out of her mistakes, but when the inevitable jail time comes she does not want Vorstag going to war with the Guard on her behalf. Hopefully he will not get bored or run out of ale while he’s waiting. She shouldn’t worry. Jacelyn has the habit of giving her best stolen goods and her favorite clothes to Vorstag to hold in case something happens that prevents her from stealing her confiscated property back from the evidence lockup. Vorstag occasionally likes something she gives him and decides to use it. It’s unlikely that he will forget about Jace while he’s wearing a pair of her black lace panties. Here is a picture of Jacelyn acting pious in Whiterun’s Hall of the Dead. She was taking a little nap while waiting for her fence to show up. LINK |

That was a blast! I’ve been trying to think of a summer game like that, but life has been noisy lately. Maybe a potluck picnic or something, lol. |

Areial, that sounds great! We’ll have to let that simmer on the back burner while we engage in dragon slayage. Sere, half the time I don’t know whether to give her a hug or a spanking. The other half I could wring her neck, lol. |

I nearly hurt myself laughing when I realized that he was wearing her panties. Seriously, I have a spinal injury and really have to be careful! Thankfully he had his armor on and I didn’t actually see them, just that they were equipped in his inventory screen. I can’t imagine that they would fit him, and as much as I love men I could stand to not see that sausage burst its casing! :D |
