Read the edit in the post just above the chapter - let me know what you think, please and thanks! Siara's easier to "play" in some ways than Veri was. Not sure why.... |

Very real hon....nice! Personally....I'm not likely to benefit from Clockwork ( id like to) so for me I say 'spoil away' hell....even if I did get it one day I never going to recall exact quest spoiling moves! Imo! Edited by Rick, Aug 14 2016, 08:40 PM.

Eh, sadly, that's true for you and Adella. I DO hope you get some mods one of these days, either with the SSE for console, or because you wind up with a computer! |

Posting about Clockwork won't be an issue for me. Even if I do eventually play it, it won't be for a long time. So don't worry on my behalf about spoilers! :D |

Okay, that's two for "go for it". Anyone else have issues? In any case, I won't give "play by play" because - well.... it's just too damn long. Seriously, Clockwork is like a DLC. The first playthrough took me almost 8 hours - and it wasn't because as a beta it had problems! Antistar produced a SERIOUSLY squeaky-clean mod. Bethesda could take lessons, and SHOULD hire him. |

Sounds like they should, and there are others too, that Beth could definitely benefit from! |

Great update! Love how the "family" is thinking and seeing what needs doing. While I probably will do Clockwork, it won't be for a while, I still have Kurdan's story, Aillyn need's an update or two and then I have more planned, but that won't be soon. Winter will come right after Kurdan and Aillyn's update. So Spoil away.... |

That note was a great way to humanize the lunatics that charge out of the bushes intent on killing and at the same time mark a potential treasure spot. I enjoyed all of the preparations they are making. No worries about Clockwork spoilers for me. I have to baby my laptop, so new mod additions are few and far between. Go in to as much detail as you like. I’ll enjoy reading about Siara’s adventure there! |

Siara's Tale 47: We were up at dawn, sorted out who was hauling what, ate a quick meal; and after putting the fire completely out, we entered the opening under the landslide. Torches were absolutely a necessity - it was dark as the hinges of hell in there. But down the slope a way was light. We approached cautiously - light could be either a good or a bad thing. We found a mage-torch - they burned for far longer than our common variety - and a note. It was from the aforementioned Cami.... to the man now dead - Isidor - urging him to hurry after her. I took up the mage-torch. We’d be able to use it for far longer than the common ones, all to the good. The tunnel wound around itself in odd ways. I wasn’t at all sure of direction most of the time - and it developed, neither was Andur. Along with the mage-torch, was there something causing us to be confused by directions? I didn’t know, and when we stopped for a meal and discussed it, neither did Andur. He wasn’t - upset - though. It was more a known thing - tunnels and ruins - I thought. We found a second note. And another mage-torch. More of the same - “Hurry, follow!” I took this torch as well. The tunnel opened into a large - ah, well.... monstrous - cavern. There were dwemer-seeming ruins about, and scattered slides tumbled over the more or less obvious “road”. “Andur.... I’ve no knowing how long we’ve been at this - but it must be time for a meal. And look - there’s another mage-torch, and a note....” He smiled grimly. “Aye. We should take time to eat, drink, and think. I think. This is.... a very.... strange place, Lady.” “Yes. It is.” We sat and ate some trail rations, drank a bit of water, and rested a while. I wasn’t - anxious - to go on. Quite the opposite. This whole place was causing me to be - distressed, disturbed - and I wanted in the worst way to not be here. But of course, this had been my idea. So. I finally stood and hoisted my back-frame, then said “Look there, Andur. There are stairs up ahead of us. Perhaps we will find a way out....” Well.... and so we did..... after.... I don’t like to think about magic. It’s not something that - agrees - with me. And from the moment that we set off toward those stairs, magic was a presence, and it STANK about us. I was nearly hyperventilating just as we traversed the road.... and then, looking up for I don’t know what reason.... I saw - a figure. A woman. Her face - it was.... disfigured? I wasn’t sure. She was standing in one of the dwemer towers, looking down at us. Her eyes tracked us as we went.... I was shuddering continuously - magic of any kind did that to me. I didn’t know what - who - she might be. But I had no good feeling about it. Finally reaching the stairs, we found another note. The tone was.... almost frantic. I pocketed it, and Andur picked up the torch. “Let us stay here for a time. Rest, eat....” I knew I must sound unhinged. Well, I nearly was. “Yes. A good thought. We will eat, sleep. Try not to....” Andur stopped. But I knew what he meant. “I will. I will try.” |

Yikes! What a tense trip through the tunnels and cavern. From the notes it seems that Cami feels the same way. I am on the edge of my seat! Great update, Sere! |

So this is all mod content now? Like with Ake, I don't mind seeing mod content I probably won't play. Unsurprisingly, actually knowing that it gets worse from here is just as bad as fearing for it. :U |

Yes, this is all now mod content. Of course, Andur isn't from a mod, he and the family are all out of my imagination.... |

Siara 48: We slept after eating. When we woke, we ate a bit, then started on. I looked back at the tower where the strange figure had watched us - was she still there? Perhaps.... but I resolutely put that aside. She had made no move toward us - and in fact, I thought that she was really just - a shade - something not actually there. I wish I had not been wrong.... This part of the area was generally more confined - walls and floors and ceilings all directing us forward. There was no way to get any look at what might be ahead, and that was - frightening. We found another note from this Camilla.... she sounded.... unhinged. And then we found her. We crept through an arched opening - and there she was, below us laying against a pillar in the bottom of an - amphitheater - I suppose you could call it. She was dead. I made the ward signs against evil for her - she’d had no one else it seemed. I wished we could have given her a decent burial - but there was no doing that in this place. Finally, we went on. By this time neither of us was very happy with what was happening - but going back seemed to be giving up.... So - forward. Suddenly, as we entered another narrow corridor, there was the woman with the pale dress and disfigured face - well, no.... it.... what? It was.... her tongue - thrust through her mouth and dripping blood. I screamed, and Andur yelled. We were clutching each other as this - apparition - neared us and.... then.... passed through us! I found myself on my knees, sobbing in fear. NOTHING was worth this! Clutching myself, arms wrapped around me, I cried for a long time. I was terrified. Where was Andur? I didn’t know. Was I alone here? In this awful place, with this horrible specter....? It was so dark.... I was sure I was dead.... I felt something touch my shoulder, and shrieked. “Lady. It is I. Andur. Are you... well?” And well might he ask. I wasn’t. I’d never in my life been so afraid. I shook, and near wet myself in terror. And I whispered, “I’m not - well.... in fact I’ve never been less well. Not even when the flood took Fenbaggan....” A long time later, Andur had built a fire from bits he’d found and carried. He made a tea - it tasted.... well, it was execrable. But it was hot. And he gave me some bits of sweet from somewhere. “Lady, eat - the sugar will help you regain control. This - it’s very bad. But I think we have no choice. I heard the noise that the land makes when an earthquake happens - we cannot get out.” I was taken with uncontrollable shudders. This - this was worse than anything I’d ever experienced in my entire life before. And.... I could only expect it would get worse..... |
