It IS weird. Okay, for now, I'll put up new threads and add the stuff - it's not that much. And maybe Kane can figure it out.... I don't know why I can see them from any link though. VERY odd. [Before I do any more posting.... see if this loads? http://s15.zetaboards.com/TES_DiD/topic/10022400/1/ ] Edited by Serethil, Sep 24 2016, 07:42 PM.

What I'm getting is, if I click on the sub-topics links I get the error message. If I click the links in the sig I get what I'm looking for. Oh, and the sub-topics show up as regular topics in the single volume topics forum, and they work okay too. So, I guess it's only the sub-topics links that don't work. |

Huh. So you and Andra don't get the same result from the links under Siara.... AUUUUGHHH. Well.... I guess.... just use what actually loads. And BOY I hate that sort of crud.....! [The reason you get topics in the normal list is because I reposted them there so people could see them....] |

They work for me in your sig, and where you just posted them as separate stories in the forum, work, just not the links in your frame. |

It doesn't like that I hid the root topics. I'll check the code out in the morning. I'm on my tablet right now, and that will be damn near impossible to attempt on here. |

No worries. I set up new "normals" for both Anki and Deni. It's not a big thing. |

Siara Part Two; 13: Andur pulled me back inside quietly. Whispering, we discussed what to do. “I’m not sure there’s enough moonlight - and I heard at least two people up there. One of them’s got to be the hagraven. We’d best wait until morning I think - the hag will have magic, so staying back as far as we can is important - neither of us can heal, except with potions.” Thankfully I had enough of those - I hoped. “Let’s go back down and out the door. There’s bound to be some dark corners where we can wait until morning - and see you, I don’t think staying inside here is at all a good idea.” “You’re right about that. Gives me the shakes thinking about it.” So I followed him down and out the door. We couldn’t hear anything of humans which was a definite positive. We’d have to make sure we got back inside before it got too light in the morning though. There was overhanging stonework everywhere - someone was bound to see us. We rested in turn; he insisted I be first. It was a long not very comfortable night - and I really wanted this whole thing over with. As the sky paled toward dawn, we crept back into the tower, and moved carefully and quietly back up to the door. This time, I stopped my mate before he opened it. “Here is what we can do. First, we need to find out if they’re asleep. It’s not to be expected, that would be more luck than Leki and Ruptga together could give us. Then when we know where they are, we need to try to get just one of them at a time. Neither of us has armor heavy enough to protect against much of magery....” He nodded, and opened the door as silently as possible. Andur pointed me to the far side of the stone room, behind the ladder, and under a floor above. Then he edged carefully up the ladder until just his eyes were above the level of the floor. He backed quickly but quietly down, and whispered right into my ear. “The hag’s butchering something at an altar I think. And the Briarheart is sleeping on a pallet just to the right at the top of this ladder. I’m going to stick him, jump down, and hope the hag doesn’t hear - then if she doesn’t, and you can get to the top of the ladder, I think you can shoot her from there.” “All right. Be careful! I love you.” I kissed him quickly, and backed as far into a dark area as I could, just in case. Pulling an arrow from the quiver, I nocked it and settled to wait. In a few minutes, I heard an odd grunt. A couple more minutes, and Andur slithered down the ladder. “He’s dead. Didn’t make much noise, and the hag never turned around. Go quickly, it’s starting to be too light.” I slid up the ladder as quickly as I could. As my head topped the floor, the hag was still bent over the altar. Pulling my bow to its full draw, I sent the first arrow, and followed immediately with the second. The hag screeched but unfortunately didn’t die. I jumped for the area to the right that held the dead Briarheart, as Andur leaped up the ladder, heading for the altar, dodging and weaving to stay out of the hag’s fire spells. I jumped out around the wall, sent two more arrows at her, and was happy to see them hit hard enough to stop a spell headed my way. About that time, Andur reached her, and took her head, scissoring through her neck with both scimitars. I slumped to the floor. Now if only I could get my heart to stop threatening to leap out of my chest.... Andur looted her body, handing me the pommel stone of the dagger; then he looted the Briarheart as well, and we poked through the rest of the area, taking whatever was ultimately salable. Then we headed back into the tower. I hoped we could get out of here without having to deal with any more Forsworn.... We didn’t see anyone. And once on the road back to Markarth, I said “I’d like to go home before we take the pieces back to Dawnstar. I - need some time to think....” Edited by Serethil, Sep 25 2016, 06:58 PM.

Wow, way to keep me on edge Sere! Wonderful teamwork! Loved Andur's scimitar moves when he took the thing's head. :D |
