Thanks Kane.....thats that one sorted. Perhaps now we should take the next one that needs thrashing out. I have already raised my concerns on a couple of them The storage mod one turned out to be fully correct once properly explained. What about tackling the issue of dropping a difficulty when restarting. I think it really needs voting on again with arguments and counter arguments voiced anew. |

Personally, I think you should HAVE to drop a difficulty notch, as a penalty for dying. |

Poncho....will also agree since he aired this view on Bethsoft too! BUT nobody liked MY post and I am the one who keeps trying to push this point (Ahem! my post #4 here referes). It is simple really: Dead Drop down you pop to a new level careful you don't fall too far cause you just might meet the :evil: P.S. I agree with dropping a level. :) |

BA's update rules: - No Fortify/Restoration looping. - Use of cheats are not allowed. (Only someone stupid wouldn't know this is a general rule for everything.) - No forbidden mods (That give players advantage.) (If you're new, you must send your mod list to me [MrBattleAxe/Gornevan]. If you had already participated in previous competitions but added more mods, please re-send me your mod list. You won't be able to enter the competitions without one, unless your playing an unmodded [vanilla] game). - No reloading previous saves, even if character did not die (unless a glitch occurred and, if a glitch did occur, you must post it in the thread.) - No map-based fast travel. (You can still use the carriage) - Once in Helgen Keep, DiD rules apply (You must go through the cart cutscene or have a save in the first tower, which you can reload after your character died/when you're starting) . - No follower/trainer exploit. - Quest followers must only be used when required. If you can dismiss them, you must. (Quest companions like Serana and Barabus have to be taken directly to their quest destination with minimal side trips.) - You may restart your game (right after you leave Helgen Keep) or create another character after you die. (It goes like: Human, Zombie, Wraith, Ghost, Shade, Whisp [Every time you die, you must do down a difficulty level.) - No mod that add storage (that includes mod houses) (If you have Convenient horses, you may not use the horse storage). - You must ALWAYS level up (meaning that, once you receive a level, you must take it right away, except if you're in combat). - The player highest score is the only one that counts for the round, meaning someone that has become a Wraith may win over a Human, if their score is high enough. - You may not 'skill spam'! (Examples: Creating 5k iron daggers, bashing your shield against a mudcrab; creating 5k potions that you're never gonna use; Enchanting random things that you're just gonna sell; Etc.) |
