Looking forward to seeing the Contessa in action!

Samil just left Ustengrav and is on his way to Riverwood...err the long way around, a couple word wall's along the way.

Glargg, added your score (which was 7.100, if I'm not mistaken, which I probably am)! Good luck to the rest!
*Creeps back into the shadows*
No need to worry about score, whatever it is, since I'm sure it's not in contention. :)

I was happy to participate, and I was frankly surprised I got as far as I did, considering that Giselle was kind of a "glass cannon" when it came to health and armor rating.

She was great against dragons and other casters, but I wasn't getting enough random dragons, so I decided to go for the dragon priests. The priests themselves are no problem for a Breton with a couple of resist magic buffs and the Atronach Stone, but getting to them is a whole other issue.

I find I generally get piss luck with dragon spawns until I ft once. Often I'll just ft to the spot I'm at. Once the load screen vanishes it'll trigger.

I've gone weeks in game with no dragons.

Hello everybody :hi:

I do hope everyone has been well and I shall be doing some catch-up post reading. Hopefully the Lumpyshade will give me a back brief.

I have been given the opportunity of a two week leg stretch to enter this inaugural competition round. It is nice to get out :)

My official entry......

Name: Adella
Char: Contessa Adella Di Nascosta-mente
Race: Nord
Gender: 'Well if you have to ask darling'
Difficulty: Legendary

Thank you Areial, Grits and Sere :hugs:

This will be fun......

I may have miscalculated my journey to Solstheim, and might have to nip back to the mainland for some gear improvements. I forgot how tough enemies can be on the isle and nearly died in Raven Rock Mine when 5 Draugr Scourge's mobbed me all at once.

Lurkers are a whole different story....

That’s what I love about Solstheim! Just when you think you’re a bad M-F, those islanders give you a smack. :D

Jonna has her scaled-level armor and Nordic greatsword now, and though she has a more powerful Nordic bow she’s still using her ebony one. Amulet of Talos and a +40 Health ring. Dragons are respawning at some of the Walls, so with some hustle she should be OK without any random ones. She met her first Frost dragon. Beautiful!

Question: the 300 points for a fully unlocked Shout is a bonus on top of the three 100 points each for unlocking the individual Words, right? Just checking so I don’t unlock Words that are in a Shout with quest-locked Words. Even with constant hunting I’m in a dragon soul shortage.

I’m debating pushing Jonna’s levels up so she gets more points for the higher level dragons, but I’m afraid I will lose interest if she is over-leveled. She’s at a sweet spot right now in the mid-30s, but with natural gameplay she won’t get much higher before the round ends.

No Grits, a fully unlocked shout is just 100 points for each word, which is equivalent to 300 points.

Indeed! All I have perked is smithing at the moment, so it might be high time to sink perks into enchanting and alchemy. (I've been stockpiling perks, I think I have about 12)

Leaving Morthal just past Stone Hill's where the mage and bandit's spawn... It was pretty dumb.

Thank you Areial. Running out of time though and the further I go the tougher it gets. Just have to see I guess. Real life is tossing lemons at us here so play time is sporadic and picture processing for the DiD story has slowed to a hault. :( Hope you and hubby find a place that works and doesn't drag you down with repairs, fixing and all that jazz!

:pst: I find swinging a hammer or laying tile...relaxing, I'm sure I wouldn't if I had to "work" at it day in and day out.

Good indeed, Bram! I'm glad that Palanir got through Valthume, and got Hevnoraak. It feels like a bit of justice for Giselle! :)
