Remember how I griped about dragons? Level 14. Killed Mirmulnir ages ago. Finally got one overhead but it never engaged or got close enough to shoot at. Yeah... |

Yeah we arn't seeing many random lizards either. Ok...we did the Thalmor embassy super quick...bish, bash, bosh Got arrested for accidentaly hitting Malborn...well he shouldn't get in the way when the Contessa is in full flow. He lived....no dragon on the road....Thalmor patrol instead grrrr. Got 'em good! Carriage to Whiterun...ran to Delphine. Carriage to Riften Adella remembered her last session with Hewnon in the Ratway....and wasted a good five minutes sadistically once again, ending him bit by bit, while I 'm shouting "hurry up woman we haven't got all day...." She made up for it with some rapid Thalmor carnage Then slowed down again to kill Kjnakr (spelling), the mad cannable chef, as slowly as possible.....she's driving me mad! Anyhow......Extracted Esbern and killed the Kat spy Exited Riften To an.....Elder dragon...yay! Ran after it Suddenly........Screen freeze Rick and Adella screaming at TV I hate you, I hate you, I hate you so much Damnable game! I'll try again later.....:( |

Rick, I would turn autosave on. I run it to save as often as possible, and I hardly ever have issues with it. Especially if it's just for a competition iteration. |

Mini update. Palanir has been to the past and learned Dragonrend. He battled Alduin who then flew off to recoup. He went down to see the Greybeards, but when he arrived the sun set and the screen flashed red (I thought it was the visuals from reading the scrolls at first), but then he had this incredible thirst.....for blood. Panicking he quaffed a cure disease potion that he always carries with him and cursed the two vampires he'd kill after exiting Alftand! Being tired he decided to sleep, but instead woke up in that Abandoned Shack he'd come across quite a while ago with some wench lazing on a bookcase and asking him if he'd slept well. (Saved there and haven't decided whether I just want to whack her or join up.) |

Final Stats Update Short Story: Palanir Level 46, Time Elapsed 59h06m49s Save Details Spoiler: click to toggle In-Game Shouts Information and Dragon Souls Collected (remember a number of shouts are given to the character so there are less souls than unlocked shouts) Spoiler: click to toggle The calculations and final score. Spoiler: click to toggle I will continue to post the story pics for Palanir's adventures as I have time. This was a very fun competition simply put. There were so many tings I hadn't done in years and a great deal of the dialogue I tend to skip through, so catching it in screen shots made the moments all the more memorable! Edited by Brambleberry, Aug 7 2016, 11:51 AM.

Well done Bram, A very strong performance from the start Perhaps we will see more of the new 'go getting jet setting' Bram for future Rounds. I seem to have been wading through molasses this time around, but the grind up was fun. Adella may just see the main quest through in her remaining 12 hours. We have also been starved of random dragons for some reason....had only two so far. |

Fantastic run, Bram! Very well done getting all of those masks as well. Yay, way to go!! I love Palanir's picture story, I'm glad you're posting more of it! Jonna has I’d guess around 14 hours left. Or maybe it was 16ish. Anyway it was less than 20. (I haven’t played since her last update.) I just cut the shit out of my finger, but tomorrow I’ll tape it up and see if she wants to go dragon hunting or take a run at the rest of the MQ. This round has been a blast! |

Ouch! Hope it wasn't too bad Grits! Pictures will be forthcoming for Palanir. Takes a bit to save them as JPEGs, upload 15 at a time to Imgur and then link them here, but the result is quite fun. Good luck to everyone still playing. Something I learned about playing on mastery and magic is that kill cams consistently occur before the mob will actually die. Several times I had those "oh shit" moments when a dragon or draugr lord didn't actually die and by the time the Kill Cam gave me back control of my character it was a desperate moment to get another spell cast. The game must miscalculate actual damage/recovery on Master as I've never seen this issue on Adept. :tes: Edited by Brambleberry, Aug 7 2016, 01:44 PM.

Adella's current score 13300 and rising :) Now. What do you make of this..... I have been using the perk 'bone breaker' with Adella's mace because it ignores a good %age of enemy armour....right? Except if they are draugr apparantly! Just tested it twice.... Scourge dies in exactly ten swipes (not power attacks) of her mace Then she tried it with two points of bone breaker ignoring 50% armour And still it took exactly ten hits with the mace So...yeah....pretty useless then. (Edit....ooookkkkk then...researched and found draugr do not have armour to "ignore" they LOOK armoured, but its an aesthetic only.) Now we have not yet tested it on regular bandits....where maybe removable armour is affected by the perk....but frankly....if its no good against Deathlords ya may as well not bother with it huh! Since we only use the mace because of the bone breaker perk....it now makes sense to revert to Ulda's old favourite....the hand axe where a small bonus of extra bleeding damage can be had. Slightly less damage per strike but a little extra speed ( 'cept undead don't bleed either). Oh and for those on console....theres a nice little bug to stop Dragonbone axes getting the hack and slash perk effect at all :( In fact....for those who have not tested it.....all the weapon types do exactly the same damage per unit time. Meaning for example.....an iron dagger does only 40% of the damage done by an iron mace, but it swings 2.5 times faster. So the damage delt per minute is the same! (not tested vs 2H). That's not Wiki stuff...I actually timed it myself. Edited by Rick, Aug 7 2016, 09:05 PM.

Darwin Award submission: Jonna Many Jars had a Become Ethereal incident at 48 hours while taking the dragon’s way down from High Hrothgar. She was highly irritated from running up and down the 7,000 steps many times in a row while dealing with the peace council quest combined with increasingly frequent crashes. I’ll admit I was also pretty irritated. And I don’t even have any dragon blood egging me on. Good luck to the remaining combatants! |
