Sorry to hear that Poncho, but sometimes playing on Apprentice or Novice can have it's perks! With it being so easy, you could aim for winning just by the sheer amount of dragons killed! |

I do indeed. ;) I started this round without intending any kind of story, but one started developing anyway. Abel seems to be in the driver's seat, as it were. |

I suppose I'll have to live with it. It's more fun when the character starts acting up, anyway. And I do this very much for fun, since I have no illusions of being very good at it! :) A few pertinent stats: Giselle has 40% Resist Magic (Breton + Agent of Mara + a ring) and 50% Absorb (Atronach Stone), so she can stand up to most magic attacks without very much healing. She can go 100% Absorb with the daily power, but has only done it once, so far. She additionally has a low-level resistance to fire, a boost to Health (Blessing of Arkay and Amulet of Arkay) and a small conjuration/regeneration enchantment on her armor. She fights using a combination of conjuration and destruction (mostly shock, which is perked), and switches to her enchanted bow when low on Magicka (which is most of the time. :) ) She's quite weak against melee opponents, so she does a lot of backpedaling and running away with them. You can imagine the antics when she encountered the random four bandits. :D |

Oh lord, do I hate those bandits. I swear every time I play in these competitions I always run into the squad with 2 bandit chiefs when I'm around level 5. I've ran away more than once, I can tell you that. |

:'( Sorry to hear that Poncho! :'( Maybe give it until the weekend. Sometimes a little break and you can come back and do it differently and just for the fun of it! :hugs: |

I've had them twice already in this round. The first time happened at about level three, when Giselle was picking flowers and wolf pelts on the road near White River Watch (they came marching from the random encounter spot there.) She just ran back across the bridge, and let the guards by the Meadery take care of the problem. The second time was when she was coming down the mountain after killing the dragon on Ancient's Ascent. She was a little tougher at that point. :) Giselle got her tenth dragon today, at Skyborn Altar, and has just finished Ustengrav. I'm going to try to keep her from progressing too fast on the MQ, because it's a lot more convenient to be able to sneak up and attack the dragons when they're sleeping on their perches! :) Edited by glargg, Jul 18 2016, 08:09 PM.

I've never seen the two chiefs and the others anywhere but the spawner back toward Riverwood from Anise's Cabin. Seriously. Then again, I fast travel when I can - and the only spawner I ever get near on a regular basis is the one close to Anise's Cabin, because that's where I get a lot of dead Treasure Hunters.... with their Notes.... |

Yes, they do seem to like to spawn there. On one of my test runs for this competition, they apparently spawned over there as I was accompanying Ralof down to Riverwood. We had just dealt with the wolves by the road, and four red dots appeared across the river on my compass. One of the bandits got close enough that Ralof went aggro and started taking potshots at him. Eventually the bandit retreated out of range, and Ralof forgot about him. :) |

I've had that group spawn outside White River Watch 2 or 3 times. One time they actually went up to White River Watch and fight the bandits outside that cave. It was hilarious. Great job so far, Glargg. You are making a nice dent in the Dragon population! Benjamin has knocked off a couple more, including Sahloknir. He also killed off Otar the Mad and now has 6 Dragon Priest masks. He is wearing Otar (as a circlet from a mod, the masks are creepy) as it had 3 elemental resists. |

That group spawns for me all the bloody time. In fact, it spawned for the game I just started, but never got to me. I planned on playing her DiD(Master) and I wasn't going near them at level 1. |

I did let them take care of Anise for me a few times, though. It makes it easier because you won't have Hired Thugs after you later. |

Oh.... I never thought about that Kane! How do you get them to go up there though? They always head down the slope toward the river.... |

Usually just by chance. The last time it happened, they were already fighting when I approached from the BFB exit. I strolled up and picked off the rest from the trees and I had my own house waiting for me. Sometimes I'm able to bait them up there, too. Fire an arrow over their heads and retreat back with my Fury spell at the ready. |

Actually, even if the bandits take care of Anise, taking her alchemy book can set the thugs after you. Her "sister" Moira sends them! Been there, done that! Totally shocked, especially when I did a certain quest line and found out who and what Moira really was. :bolt: |

I'll think about taking another swing at it on my next day off, whenever that is...working in a hotel and apparently it's "impossible" for me to get the same two nights off each week to actually plan a life around As it is, i've used up a good 13 hours of the time already...so i'd need to be on a lower difficulty to spring up to the damage output/resistance i'd like for chasing dragons...was also having to fight the urge to repeatedly cast flesh spells during combat to inflate alteration...I wanted that paralyse spell |

They both belong to the "Hagraven Faction", so sister's is used loosely in that they're both witchy and maybe even twitchy, but not really :bunny: twisty :bunny: |
