Up For Discussion Link(s) to Content: http://time.com/3954739/donald-trump-phoenix/ As campaigns are starting to ramp up across the country, we have seen some pretty oddball tactics from a rather unexpected addition to the republican ballot. Real estate mogul, Donald Trump. I'm sure that most of you have heard of his "Mexican's are rapists" comment, although, I just took that way out of context (same goes for the rest of America), but have you been following his latest campaign? Donald, this time speaking in Phoenix, gave a "rambling speech to a crowd of thousands in the Phoenix Convention Center", in front of thousands of onlookers. In this speech, Donald held nothing back, as he, quote; "Trump promised to fine Mexico $100,000 for every person crossing into the U.S. illegally, pledged to tax imports by American-owned businesses that have shipped jobs overseas, and said he could destroy the Islamic State of Iraq and Greater Syria [ISIS] with overwhelming force. “I would take them out so fast,” he said." So, my question is, after reading about his latest speech, What is your assessment of Trump? - Although it's a very small chance he gets a shot at the Presidency, do you think Trump is here to stay? Do you think that Trump is a full of it maniac, or do you think that he's on to something. Let me know your thoughts. Edited by Mubaru, Jul 11 2015, 09:42 PM.

Donald simply put is a entrepreneur not a politician. I fear he wouldn't only want America to soar economically and not anywhere else. |

Going back to this quote, and, I know this is a campaign speech, so he is purposefully trying to get people excited, or full of energy, but this;
Just seems over excessive, and a little extreme in my opinion. He seems more like a kid who's bragging about being president, than a professional. |

I do have to give the guy credit, he is very passionate. Although, maybe not in a good way. He obviously doesn't like Mexico;

My work hires dozens of Mexicans most of the are probably there with faked visa's. They do a jobs for a pittance pay, then take what money they saved up back over the border to live with their families like king because one US dollar equals 15 pesos. So a Mexican who manages to save up 2500 dollars can return when he is done with America and live on 37,500 pesos. Removing 25,00 dollars from our economy permanently as well as denying someone who would stay in the country and contribute, much needed work. Maybe you wouldn't want to pick grapes but most people dont care about the work so long as they are paid enough to live on. |

I think he's an utter imbecile. Which means I'm pleased he's running in the Republican primary. |
