Hey i've been thinking about getting Xbox Live soon (just need to save up some cash). So I've been wondering. Should I go wireless or wired? What kind of subscription should I get? How many months should I stay on to see if I like it or not? Any suggestions would be a big help.

ok ok I got this. Go to radioshack once you have hooked your xbox up to the internet and buy a 1 month card for 8 bucks. That should be long enough for you to try. And I suggest wired but if it makes it easier on you go wireless. Either way it rocks.

Well, I know Torisuna has good intentions, but buying the 8 dollar 1-month cards really eats up your money fast. I'd say at least get a 3 month card for 20 bucks. That way you can save up for a full year if you enjoy it. That's what I did at least. Wired vs. Wireless, I'd probably go wired, but it doesn't matter either way. You can hook your 360 up to a wireless router as long as it's nearby the system. Ethernet that bitch!

Soooo...let's say the television i play games on is upstairs and the router is downstairs. I guess the only question is which one would be more convenient?

Or just move your television. I've had mine virtually everywhere in my house at some point for some reason or other.
