POWER LIMITATIONS

  • Power is defined as the main ability your character has. What can they perform with it?

  • Decide what kind of fighting style you want for your character. Are they a ranged attacker, a close-ranged brawler, a tank, etc? Find a power that suits what kind of fighting style your character will have.

  • You don’t need to be overly detailed, you just need to get the basics written down so it can be understood how your power works.

  • If you need help coming up with descriptions for your power, third party sources are okay to use. You are still encouraged to add original content of your own so it can be better tailored for your character.

Application

  • An application is defined as how your power can be applied. For example, if fire is your character’s power, fire blasts is an application of it.

  • Make sure your application is actually related to the power itself.

  • Keep your applications concise and to the point as much as possible. We understand that sometimes you might have to elaborate for us to understand better, but when you can, it would help us a lot if you keep your applications short and sweet to help us moderate more effectively.

  • Though there is no app limit, please be reasonable in what you put in.

  • Don’t try to sneak another application within the application. It’s unfair to others and will only prolong the moderation of your file.

  • If you are using application such as strength, speed, durability or stamina, refer to this guide: http://s15.zetaboards.com/Teen_Titans/topic/10405990/1/

Abilities

  • Abilities are taught skills that your character can use. For the sake of easier file moderation, you are asked to list down any of your skills that can be applied to combat.

  • Remember that the proficiency of your character’s ability should reflect on what they’ve gone through. Everyone is aged 6-18 so keep that in mind they won’t be extremely proficient in combat-practical skills unless they have a good reason to.

  • Combat practical abilities include combat prowess and tactics. Unless stated in a file, you’re character would not be able to strategize all the time to dodge an attack.

Weaknesses

  • Weaknesses are anything that can hinder, weaken or counteract your character’s power. They prevent them from reaching their power’s full potential.

  • Fatigue symptoms due to over exhaustion are not counted as weaknesses. Everyone has a limited amount of stamina and everyone gets tired eventually.
