Hi everyone,

I know that this e-mail may not appeal to you personally, but we at The Stage Door would appreciate it immensely if you would help us get the word out.

Coming up the 2nd weekend of October (the 8th and 9th), we are offering a Stage Combat Academy for ages 12 and up. This academy is a great opportunity to learn the basics of stage fighting from a well-trained and highly experienced instructor, Richard Howell. The attached article gives more details, but I think you, your child, or someone interested in theater that you know would find this academy to be right up their alley. Please feel free to forward this information to anyone you know who might be interested.

Also, on the evening of October 8th, The Stage Door is once again hosting "A Funny Thing," our PG version of "The Last Comic Standing." Anyone can enter the competition if they think they have a flare for stand-up comedy and there is no cost for the participants. This is generally an "adult" competition, but older teens are welcome. I think we had an 18-year-old perform last year who did quite well. Again, if this doesn't appeal to you personally, please forward it on to someone you know who might be interested. Again, the attached article has more information.

Thanks for your interest, participation, and support of The Stage Door. We look forward to seeing your smiling face again real soon!!
