Well, it is fair to say that we have now hit a wall and as a result there is very little activity in any aspect of the forums. The glory days of creating and amending legislation have gone. The Senate house has been reduced to voting on Minister leaders, the roleplay forum that was intended to increase activity has ground to a near stop with only a few dedicated people taking part. Fun and games are no longer what they intend to be with a Last to Post game being technically finished by yours truly. Old members of the Senate have also fallen to a slump. Why is this? Very little is being thought up in the Senate. As a result I am going to frantically think up some new legislation to hopefully increase activity in here. For my first bit I propose the creation of a Culture Minister to be voted upon post haste. I understand such a position was mulled upon but as far as i know there is no Culture Minister. What I propose the Culture Minister does is roam every active region in Nation States and try to figure out a magic formula that will equate to activity. I will create a new topic that will outline the duties and responsibilities of the Culture Minister. |

I concurr with the dear senator, that the days where it was not out of the ordinary and quite commonplace for well over 20 people to be active at any time are over. We need to find a solution |

Senator, perhaps the activity of each Nation could be monitored? Communication can decide whether we succeed, or fail. If we can encourage the forums by enforcing the use of them, then we may increase the activity. I have not seen the days of activity being new myself, but, it should be a common thing and that is what we need. |

Indeed it should my good Senator. The under-ministers of the Culture Ministry would pay attention to the activity but it would be easy to monitor as the Under-minister could pay attention to the time that posts were made and how many. If there are many late posts and topic made weeks ago then we can fairly say activity is low. However, we could also just look at their efforts to increase Culture in their Region. I can only hope that your first days here do not become a bore as activity falls below levels considered fun. |

That type of attitude is what the Legion was first made from. :D |

We're still way more active than most other regions. The only times we would hit 20 members online at once was when Rapp or I would mass PM the entire IAF for missions. That said I think that roleplay and the Senate could definitely use an injection of activity. The Senate was busier before simply because there was more substantial legislation to consider - such as the codex, etc. Yet there is still much to do; I will be proposing a few pieces of legislation over the coming days. Establishing a Culture Ministry is a good step forward. |

Excellent! I mean nothing against the Legion. I am looking forward to the legislation. |
