CHARACTER CREATION RULES
  1. All members are limited to ONE child character for the moment. Additional adult characters (professors, villains, etc.) will open up as the roleplay progresses.

  2. To roleplay your character's abilities you must first submit a Cerebra File Application and have it accepted.

  3. Characters start off with one power and three applications of that power. These will increase as your character grows. e.g. Power: Telepathy. Applications: Can read minds, can sense other people nearby, can influence the thoughts of non-psychics nearby.

  4. Power and application limitations must be listed on the Cerebra File. This would be things like distance your power can reach, strength of your power, what you can and can't do with the power.

  5. Once accepted, Cerebra Files can only be changed with the approval of a member of Staff.

  6. Characters will be randomly assigned a House when joining. This will be entirely random - a choice between House Solar and House Lunar. Which house you're in is mostly superficial, but it will influence certain events.

  7. Do not post on someone else's file. If you have a query or concern, please contact a member of Staff.


[anchor=classification][/anchor]Mutant Classification
  • Omega - A mutant with unheard of powers, whose abilities do not have foreseeable limits.

  • Alpha - A mutant with an incredibly powerful mutation, who has is completely capable or trained. Alpha level mutants have either a single power and six applications, or two powers with three applications each.

  • Beta - A powerful mutation. The mutant shows an advanced level of capability or training.Beta mutants have either a single power and five applications, or two powers - one with three applications and one with two.

  • Gamma - An advanced mutation. Mutant shows a decent level of capability or training. Gamma level mutants have a single power and four applications.

  • Delta - A standard mutation. Often has little capability or training. Delta and Epsilon level mutants have a single power and three applications.

  • Epsilon - Mutants with little to no special abilities, or whose mutations negatively impact their daily life.
All students start off as Epsilon or Delta-level mutants, though progression through the list will be rewarded for participation in classes, events and storylines.

POWER LIMITATIONS

Below are the maximum outputs of a single power at Delta level. Superhuman levels are if that power is your main power (for example, if your overall power is Superhuman Strength). Enhanced levels are for applications where the overall power is something else (for example, if your overall power was Cryokinesis but you had an application for Enhanced Durability).

Strength:
  • Superhuman: Can lift up to 5 tonnes. Includes telekinesis.
  • Enhanced: Can lift up to 3 tonnes. Includes telekinesis

Durability:
  • Superhuman: Bones, muscles and skin are extremely durable, can withstand sustained gunfire and extreme hot or cold temperatures. Resistent against blows from those with superhuman strength. Includes shields.
  • Enhanced: Bones, muscles and skin are able to withstand moderate levels of blunt or sharp trauma (including low caliber bullets) and severe hot or cold temperatures. Resistant against blows from those with enhanced strength. Includes shields.

Speed:
  • Superhuman: Can move up to speeds of 200 MPH
  • Enhanced: Can move up to speeds of 75 MPH

Temperature:
  • Superhuman: Can create temperatures of 1200 degrees celsius or -40 degrees celsius
  • Enhanced: Can create temperatures of 500 degrees celsius or -10 degrees celsius

Healing
No restrictions are going to be put on healing. Please roleplay healing responsibly, or I'll be forced to. Maybe your power can instantly heal severe wounds and disabilities, but it's likely to come at a price. Roleplay that realistically or mods will step in.

Please note: Strength and speed applications are not allowed on the same character for the time-being.
