Alice, having survived the previous installment of the Nightmare series, finds the deadly dreams of Freddy Krueger starting once again. This time, the taunting murderer is striking through the sleeping mind of Alice's unborn child. His intention is to be "born again" into the real world. The only one who can stop Freddy is his dead mother, but can Alice free her spirit in time to save her own son?

I actually love the atmosphere... sometimes; when it's on, the dreams get REALLY creative and creepy (that said, it's tonally very confused and does try a little too hard to be both serious and scary but also lighthearted and fun, which makes it come up short in both) Good kills too. Characters could've been better, though. Alice is great, her dad is great, Dan is likeable as always. Newbies were a little underwritten and one note though (Mark being the most multi-dimensional). I also thinking exploring things like abortion and whatnot more indepth would've been a good idea too.
