One year after the events of Heartbreakers, Amanda Davis graduates from high school and gets accepted into Los Angeles’ hottest college Terrence University. While leaving everything tying to her past behind, Amanda finds that she doesn’t fit in at college and is at the bottom of the food chain. After having a breakdown, Amanda checks herself into a mental hospital. Suffering from a case of PTSD, Amanda begins to witness horrific images and visions of the Heartbreaker. Slipping between the realms of a fantasy and a reality, Amanda finds herself posing the question, “is the Heartbreaker really back?”.
Amanda Davis - 18. Has matured a bit since the murders last year, and is currently in a ‘goth’ phase to prove it with her trendy use of dark colored outfits and short, dyed dark-brown hair. Currently suffering from PTSD,, Amanda finds herself alone and still struggling to come to terms with moving on.
Detective Harper Gordon - 27. Still a hard-ass and refuses to take people’s shit. She will legit make your body ache if you even dare to cross her. After being fired for being a shitty Sheriff and letting countless more people die, Harper Gordon has decided to follow her lifelong dream since she was a little girl, which was to become a private investigator.
Amy Roberts - 18. Still the same goofy bimbo as she was in high school. Amy has channeled all of her time into her new dance-yoga studio that she currently runs. The class has made a huge change in her life and allows her to be more spiritual and passionate. Her life motto, which is also her most iconic dance move, is “1, 2, step, turn”.
Sweetie Jones - 18. A giddy girl, who - just like her name implies - is a sweetheart. She’s a complete bubble of joy and loves to spread happiness and make her peers around her happy. She has that certain charm to her to do so. She’s also very innocent and should be sheltered like a little pup.
Miffy Simmons - 18. A total goddess. She’s honest - no matter how rude she comes across. She’s very careless and laid back, but watch out when the claws come out. Believes that the world revolves around her, and it probably does. Used to be a very famous actress but is taking a four year break to attend college. She runs the clique Miffy and the Minions - also known as the M&Ms to the rest of the school. She may also have a twin sister, but who cares.
Brandon Banner - 19. Miffy’s right hand man. They do everything together. Brandon likes to put himself out there, he’s very energetic and social, completely fearless. He tends to be very dramatic at times and it makes him come across annoying to other people, but he doesn’t care. He has a huge mega crush on Connor. Fingers crossed for that first Final boy that’s gay.
Brody Smith. 19. A wise young man. After being traumatized by the murders, he now runs his own therapy group called ‘Survivor Squad’. The group meets weekly with a whole bunch of people who have had traumatizing experiences and Brody does his best to work with them and he gives them wise words to follow and live by.
Faye Bowler - 22. Detective Gordon’s right-hand woman. She’s very mousy and small, but what she lacks for in size she makes up for in attitude. She’s very outspoken, other worldly, and in your face. The only employee at Gordon’s detective company, and is basically Gordon’s assistant and handles all the behind the scenes work.
Muffy Simmons - 18. Better known as Miffy’s twin sister, Muffy has always been stuck in her sister’s shadow. While her sister became a huge actress, Muffy starred in a low-rate soap opera TV Show that was cancelled after the first season. Muffy is tired of always being in the background and tried to get away by going to college, but Miffy followed her there too. She wants to prove herself not be the Ashlee to her sister’s Jessica.
Connor Jenners - 20. Connor is a very chill, laid back guy and people like him because he’s really easy to talk to and get along with. He’s very charming and approachable and just a great person all around. But sometimes he can be uptight and bossy when put under pressure. He has a crush on Brandon but doesn’t want to admit it and tries to play it cool.
Dean Gia Martinez - 34. She’s the dean of the college. She’s very loco sometimes and used to be a Latin teacher, but after the last Dean died of eating her dog’s food and choking on it she took her place. She’s very bitchy and whines if things doesn’t go her way, and when she really wants something she’ll sing, you don’t not want her to sing.
Cathryn Cooper - 19. Very outlandish. She’s never afraid to put herself out there and doesn’t really care if people find her weird or uncomfortable to be around. She’s very talkative and always ends up talking her way into horrible situations. She just can’t help it at all!
Brooklyn Reyes - 20. Quite mysterious. Got that James Dean daydream look in his eye. Not really the type of guy who opens up to others, usually keeps his distance unless he’s interested in something. And when he wants something, he can be quite manipulative and persuasive to get it.
Rhys Stevens - 19. Sex addict. Very out-going and charming. People always fall for his perfect smile and inviting eyes. Besides his sex life, Rhys is always in public eye due to his father running for mayor. He’s rich and loves to flaunt his money.
Quinn Watson - 19. Famous singer. Has been singing since she was a child and finally made it big. Due to her ambition she allowed the fame to overtake her life and became another washed-up child star and a joke for most memes.
I'm so happy I stopped putting this off and finally read it. I thought it was even better than the first. The opening in the asylum did drag a little, but the way all the characters were introduced felt so natural and well-written, and the transition from asylum to college was great and didn't like bring the script down. The college scenes were easily the best. Fave newbies were Faye, Brandon, Miffy, and the Dean, but the character I loved the most was Amanda. I always liked her in the first but she really shined here. She managed to be funnier than she was in the first but she also managed to be well-written during her serious dramatic scenes (even though this script is a spoof/comedy, the serious scenes were actually really well written). I also really liked Brody, Amy, and Gordon, and thought the latter was utilized well and had a lot of funny moments. The ending with the killers really surprised me even though I suspected Faye and Brooklyn in the beginning. I loved the scenes with Amy and Miffy fighting Faye and Faye bringing out the weapons. It was really funny. And the cliffhanger slayed, I really want a 3 now.
Verdict: A really great script that was even better than the first. The page number may be a little intimidating, but the script flows so well and has a lot of hilarious dialogue, moments, and great action/kill scenes. 9/10

Yeah, I can definitely see what you mean about the Asylum bit. But I'm glad that you FINALLY read this! I'm so glad that you loved it more than 1 tho and found it funnier & even enjoyed the more serious moments. Amanda is amazing so I can get why you loved her tbh. I tried to break her away from the whole bitchiness & develop her further so it's nice to see it paid off. The ending fight is iconic. And 3 is coming!
Yeah, the script was meant to be a miniseries hense why it ended being so long
Humping? Like that rescue dog did to that little girl at the Rite Aid?

:CHARACTERS:
I think it's safe to say Heartbreakers 2 has, without a doubt, your best set of characters. Out of all fifteen HB2 characters, I'd say the only ones I didn't really care for too much were Dean Gia and Sweetie. Everyone else was either great or had potential to be great if they had been given more screentime (such as Quinn and Rys, whom I was sad to see die so soon though I did like their deaths. Good Scream homages btw). I didn't hate either, but I just didn't jive with Gia and found Sweetie lacking a bit though her "I have class" gag was amusing. If I had to pick favorites, I'd say Amanda is definitely my number 1. I loved her from beginning-to-end, from her first line to her last. You just handled her trauma from the events of HBs amazingly, and her connection to the killers was handled really well (a bit more on that in the next). Second favorite would have to be Miffy, who I was not expecting to like as much as I do. I loved seeing that she's not a shallow bitch like we're first led to believe, but a woman trying to succeed in a world full of assholes just like her sister. Was seriously beyond glad to see her make it to the end.
:KILLERS:
I don't know what Brooklyn was talking about when he said the finale was predictable, I wasn't expecting two of the three killers revealed. I kinda expected Faye, but wasn't expecting Brooklyn (of the mental hospital characters, I had Cathryn pegged as the killer) nor was I expecting Sweetie (mainly cause she didn't really do much pre-reveal besides announcing she has classes with everyone). If I had to pick a fave of the three killers, I'd say Faye. I really enjoyed her reveal (despite somewhat predicting her) and her connection to Amanda was handled really well. We've all seen how first hand just how badly this kind of twist can be, but you pulled it off
:DEATHS:
My favorite deaths were, without a doubt, Brody's and Muffy's. The emotion that Brody's death brought to the script was great, and I loved the suspense of Muffy's. Nothing better than a good pool death, really. I also liked the Scream homages in Quinn and Ryes deaths, though I wish it had come later tbh. They needed more screentime, damn it! I'd say my least favorite death of the script was Cathryn's, mainly cause it felt like it was written in a way to set her up as a red herring. All we see is her running off and hear the sound of a knife stabbing something. It's really her death that made Brooklyn being the killer such a shock. I also wasn't too big on Gia's, just for how over-the-top it was.
:OVERALL:
I think this is your best script to date, honestly. I'm sorry it took me so damn long to read it, I have no excuses beyond I'm a crappy, lazy friend sometimes. Full 10/10. Cannot wait to see what you have in store with HB3.
You’d be proud of me because Carl just mansplained to me how to work a lock box - I smiled, said, "thank you", and didn’t pull out the vocal chords he used to insult me!
