On more the clearer days of the city when the citizens move slower and the more dark move further into the shadows a young women justs quietly outside of the moonlight cafe with a simple looking laptop and some unknown gadgets. Her golden stare focused keenly on the codes and networks as her hands tingled and aided in her conquest. Ten of so minutes passing with a banking account unlocked of some old business man who wouldn't need the money anyways. The teen giving a playful chuckle at the beautiful number of what he owned.

"I think it's time you give back to the poor Mr. Ricksom."Eclipsa softly said before taking one of the foreign gadgets to plug into the laptop which hummed a gentle flow of electricity into her system. Her breath soft while her magic worked as without a trace almost twenty thousand was gone and into one of her own private accounts to keep her funded.

Just to show her love Eclipsa emailed him a little cartoon wolf holding up a heart before shutting most of her work down. Unplugging her device to swiftly place into her bag as she called over a waitress to order a moca before causally opening one of her games to play. From a distance no one suspected her of anything just from her appearance; just a normal teen playing some game at the cafe. This almost getting her off as she felt like those government agents or secret spies who basically got away with anything. She could mess with her apartment neighbors lights for a month and never get accused for a thing, a party that never seemed to end. Eclipsa pausing her game to take the cold drink while thanking the waitress before slipping a tip as this place was the best for their mocas. Her instincts mainly to avoid public food but she couldn't resist, the temptation was too difficult.

"To another lovely donation."Eclipsa softly toasted as the money really did come in handy as tech wasn't cheap these days. Especially with a mysterious hacker going around and messing with homes and security.

Ray stepped into the cafe, his entire body soaked from the strong out-pour of rain outside the cafe. The rugged man looked around, seeking for a spot in advance after he'll be making his order.
He eyed the young teenage girl, noticing the vacant seat in the middle of busy customers, some with laptops as if they were survivors.

He made straight for the cashier, lining up despite his clothes dripping with rain water.

"One hot expresso." ordered Ray when it was his turn.
The cashier eyed Ray for a moment, taking note of his wet clothes as he silently began brewing his coffee.

"Got caught in the storm?" asked the cashier, passing hot cup to him.

Ray could only nod as he passed the drenched wad of cash to the disappointed cashier. "No dry ones eh.." said the cashier as he beckoned Ray to step aside for the next customer.

The young reporter then walked towards the only vacant inside the cafe, where the girl was.

"Excuse me, Miss. Mind if I have this seat? Storm's caught me." asked Ray, one hand on the seat as he waited for the girl's reply.

Enjoying the moca her golden gaze turned to the gentleman in the trenchoat and hat, her eyes looking up and down while setting her drink down close to her. Her hands set on the table to see if he had any electronic on him before deciding on what she wished to say.

"Free enough country sir, have a seat. You seem like you fought a hurricane."Eclipsa softly said while gesturing to the empty seat at her table. Her hand closing the laptop as she transferred the memory to another laptop in case this man was shady.

Despite his goofy and nearly harmless look he could be a police officer. Despite the lack of them they still exist and enforce some order in this city whixh faintly worried her. Especially now with the advancements in technology they could slowly track her if he wasn't playing her cards correctly.

"Thanks." replied Ray, gladly taking the seat and sipping on the hot coffee.
He can smell the pleasing aroma of the espresso as his nose felt the steam. The warm liquid soothing his body like clothes on a fireplace.
Of course, the young reporter is still soaking wet.

"Yeah, I guess I thought I could outrun the storm." answered Ray, after having a sips. He chuckled to himself as he took his wet flat hat and wrung it, some water coming out. "Was almost running late in posting the storm article."

Keeping her gaze cool and collected Eclipsa forced herself to enjoy her moca while watching the stranger before him. Her shoulders relaxing a little as she realized this man was only some news reporter, most likely a mundane but she couldn't let her guard down so easy. Not after the last event of a undercover cop nearly catching her after hacking her way to getting nearly fifty thousand in donations.

"I guess the storm found you before you could tell."Eclipsa softly joked whiek finishing her tasty beverage before allowing a waitress to take it for her. Taking the moment to glance over him once more to see if he had any news tags or badges. "You a lackey or an actual reporter? I haven't seen you around before."She added in as he did look unfamiliar to her. Maybe she didn't watch TV so much but she kept a watch on the news anchors themselves and he didn't ring any bells.

'Maybe he's not what he's saying' quietly thought as her mind didn't come up with a face for him. Not that she was afraid or anything it's just that she didn't like hounds at her heels; especially people who fake themselves just to get close and then snitch. Her outside looking calm and almost bored while her hand ratcheted electricity in case she has to quickly stun him.

Ray frown at the mention of 'lackey', sighing as he did. "I guess I don't look the part eh.." The reporter extended his hand to the young teenager to officially introduce himself, "Ray Blackout, new reporter for the Daylight Times...Just moved in..so I hope that explains why you haven't seen me before."

The reporter was tired, despite having only worked for a few days in the job. Perhaps he should get used to this sort of thing.

Smiling to that Eclipsa could get behind this man. He seemed more energetic than the usual bunch in the city, his eyes still having that sparkle of opportunities. The teen reaching over to greet his hand in a shake, sending a little bit of tingle as she released. "Stephanie Blake, pleasure to meet you, Ray.Eclipsa lied with a sweet smile, relaxing slightly since she could see he wouldn't be much of an issue. Plus if he didn't believe her the name did come from a person. "I'll be waiting to see what you can do. Maybe you'll be the first to make the media interesting."She added while paging a waitress down for another moca.

This Ray guy doesn't seem so interesting yet he was still apart of the press. Maybe with a little bit of charm she wouldn't have to use force on him. Despite her methods Eclipsa was more interested in getting her way easily then to do something grand.

"Don't expect too much from me, Miss Steph," answered Ray, taking a sip of the coffee from his cup. "I'm just a regular Joe, doing what most reporters do - saying what happened." The reporter glanced as Stephanie paged a waitress, "So what about you? You live around here as well?"

Allowing the waitress to place her moca and a small sandwich beside her Eclipsa took a moment to think of certain things to say. A part of her assuming he wouldn't care yet he was a reporter, a young one at that. No doubt a bloodhound to try and be the best little reporter he can be so his boss can give him praise. "Oh I live in one of the penthouses a little ways from here. I'm like a computer engineer despite how I look."Eclipsa stated while pointing to one of the buildings in the distance, not even trying to recognize the one she lived in. "I might as well move out since the older neighbors are pricks. They don't believe a young person should breath in their 'valued presence'.She added in while rolling her eyes, knowing well that her neighbors try to get her evicted but technically they wouldn't have proof for any claims.

Gingerly taking her laptop back into her hands she gracefully slid it into her bag, seeing That the man before her wasn't anything too special. Returning back to take her sandwich and take a bite while looking him over, unsure if he even would believe the little truth she had. Swallowing her food she spoke while not touching her drink yet. "So how about yourself? You live in the actual city or outside of it? I haven't really met an 'average joe' in this city. Everyone is a little gifted in their own right."The teen asked while poking slightly for some vocal information. A little taken by his low self confidence as it seems everyone is hot headed and snobby here.

"Computer engineer, eh?" replied Ray, finishing his cup of coffee with the sip. "Only a casual one at that myself, can't use an Applebook for the life of me." The reporter chuckled to himself, remembering how he almost wrecked one of the Maks because of his frustration in adjusting to the system. He was just a simple Softmicro guy, after all.

Despite having only met Eclipsa, there was definitely something good in her, whatever that might be. Even more, the reporter felt like there was more to her than meets the eye, but he couldn't seem to pinpoint what that was. This all the more made him curious at the mysterious young woman.

He handed Eclipsa her calling card, containing his full address, email, and contact number. "I live in one of those rundown apartments since my paycheck barely covers my expenses. But it's better than being homeless or living in the alleyways I guess. I would have probably ended up getting mugged or worse had it been the latter, especially if I passed by mafia-controlled parts of the city."
Ray frowned a little, giving off a sigh, then shrugging his shoulder's at Eclipsa's indirect compliment, "I guess so, never really viewed myself as gifted, even just a little. I just do whatever I can to get a job done, period."
