When it comes to characters, they can be precious and delicate flowers that need to blossom gently to their full potential. Or they’re like a Geode where you have to smash them apart to reveal the true inner beauty of them. Whichever way it is, here are some ground rules for getting your character application to its full potential.

  1. You need two staff member approvals before your character can run around. This makes it so we all agree on the fact your character is good.
  2. Sometimes, powers need to be toned down: The only character that are allowed to have powers are the slenderman himself, proxies, and any little creatures you decide to come up with. And while it is fun to give a proxy pyrokinesis, that is sadly something that cannot be done. Proxies can only have super strength, stamina, and immortality in the form of them not dying unless being killed.
  3. You can’t make your own slenderman: After all the parodies of the tall man himself, I think there is enough. The only ones who will be using the slenderman will be the admins and the moderators. Sorry folks, just keeps things simple.
  4. Creatures can talk: Sometimes it’s mumbled gibberish that gives visions of loved ones being torn apart, sometimes it’s actual english. Whichever you prefer really.
  5. Proxies can also talk: They just choose not to. Easier to keep their identity a secret if the human they’re stalking knows them somehow.
  6. Your human cannot have: Any powers. They're human. Humans don't have powers.
  7. Your marked can have: It's easier to list the things they can have. They can have teleportation from the fourth dimension and back. Nothing else.
  8. Your proxy cannot have: telepathy, mind control, full immortality (can't die no matter what), quick regeneration abilities, the ability to grant wishes, the ability to warp reality, invulnerability to any man made or supernatural object, or shape shifting. Keep in mind, proxies are still technically humans. Just with a bit of help from slendy.
  9. Your creature cannot have: telepathy, mind control, full immortality, the ability to grant wishes, or invulnerability to all man made or supernatural objects. These powers are simply a bit too OP and can lead to very unfair scenarios.

That's about it now. Good luck and have fun!
