THE RANKS OF TBK Here is a list of the different ranks we have, the duties of each rank, and how you can obtain them. Promotions for the ranks between Militia and Knight are decided by the staff, and announced at the beginning of each month. MILITIA CC Rank: Recruit In other clans, the militia could be compared to a trial rank. However, TBK has a simplified application system, which does not include a trial period. As soon as a member is successfully accepted, they become militia. They can see most forums, except forums such as the War Zone and Members-Only Real Life to prevent the leaking of sensitive information. SOLDIER CC Rank: Corporal The Soldier rank is comparable to a standard member rank. It is fairly easy to achieve. Militia who are active on the forums, IRC and attend events are eligible for the Soldier rank. WARRIOR CC Rank: Corporal The Warrior is the next step, comparable to a trusted member. Soldiers who have proved that they are committed and dedicated to the clan are eligible for this rank. This is done by exceeding the standards expected of normal members - taking part in the community maturely and sensibly. Warriors are recognised for trying to give a positive contribution to the clan and community. KNIGHT CC Rank: Sergeant The Knight is the highest level of the non-staff ranks, comparable to an honoured member. As Warriors are recognised for exceeding the normal standards, Knights are recognised for doing this with outstanding effort. If your contribution to the clan and community has been successful, you are eligible for this rank. A Knight should be honourable, trustworthy, loyal, faithful, friendly, mature and respectful to all - staff, clanmates and non-clan members alike. GENERAL CC Rank: Lietuenant The Generals of the clan are the first staff members. Their job is to serve as moderators for the forums/IRC/Clan chat. They are also in charge of our events - to organise and host them, and lead the clan when neccesary. Generals are chosen in democratic elections when there is an open position. COMMANDER CC Rank: Captain The Commanders are comparable to council - they are in charge of the structural side of the clan. Commanders are in charge of our member base - applications and resignations, management of our member list, and of course providing help and support to members of the clan when they need it. They also help decide on major changes to the clan along with the leadership. Like Generals, they are elected democratically when a position is available. WARLORD CC Rank: Captain The Warlords are in charge of our PvP aspect. They organise, host and lead wars and raids. Warlords must be experienced and strong in all aspects of diplomacy and PvP, as they can lead the clan to death or victory. High combat and in-game stats are reccomended - this is the only rank which has in-game reccomendations. Warlords are elected democratically like Commanders and Generals. LEADER CC Rank: General The Leaders of the clan lead the entire syndicate, and act as diplomatic spoksepersons. As well as representation, Leaders carry out clan functions and major changes, and take part in the duties of the other staff members as well (such as applications, counselling, event and war/raid leadership). They have the final say in all clan matters, as their main focus is to direct the clan. New leaders are hand-picked by the current leadership. |
