Tiberius looks at you and smiles.

"Ulric, Soleil. It is a pleasure to meet you. As far as my display...I am sorry for my anger. We reds are known for our temper and I...Um...I sometimes am unable to contain it. Especially when there are a bunch of buttholes blocking my way, intent on capturing me because of the way that I look. You'd be quite surprised how much I have to deal with that...That...Poppycock...And I don't mind telling you that it burns my horns. I mean, can you imagine the audacity that one must have to judge one solely on the fact that they just happen to have been born looking like a dragon? To blame someone for that...To think they have any control over it. It's...Well...It's preposterous. And there are a great number of buttholes in the world that..."

Tiberius trails off with his rant before looking at Jareth.

"I'm sorry. I don't believe we've had the pleasure. My name...Is Tiberius Stormwind...From Draconia."

Jareth

Jareth eyes up Tiberius, hesitant to trust him due to the predicament they are in. Jareth finally nods his way, but chooses to keep his true identity secret to this stranger.

"Jareth Burrell, also known as The Black Sword."

Jareth nods at Pike.

"I'd suggest a little less talk and little more work on those manacles though. We can all hold hands and get to know each other later when things are a little less...dire."

Jareth turns to Castellan.

"So with the governor dead, where does that leave Greenest and this keep?"

Tiberius mutters something to himself, the word "poppycock" being the only clear word you can make out. He turns towards Pike, going to work on the collar around her neck. While he does this, Castellan motions for you to follow him as he steps out if the infirmary and into the hall.

"I put some thought into this while you were gone as I half expected this to be the outcome. I'll be honest with you. I'm not made for leadership. I'm a soldier, not a politician. The same goes for Pike. We have some nobility here, but most of our men were drafted into the militia and...Well...You've seen firsthand how well that went."

He pauses for a moment, chewing on his lip.

"If we're talking about bloodline, then Jory has the best claim to it. That being said, I think we can all agree that Greenest would be better off if he were nowhere near the governor's office."

He sighs, shaking his head.

"All told, I've considered a lot, since I'm the ranking officer in the government now...And I think a council would be the best course of action. Myself and Pike would be on it, of course...As well as the remaining nobles. But...And I've put much thought into this...I think that this town might recover best with the heroes of Greenest...The three that helped save this town...Also on the council."

"Can you trust a council? In my experience, a council ends up nothing but a vie for power with everyone playing their own agenda, and very rarely does a council do what is best on behalf of their people."

Soleil Moonshadow

Soleil takes a quick glance around to make sure no one else could hear her reply. She looks at Castellan briefly then looks to Jareth and Ulric.

"Jareth, you and I have spent the better part of our years being trained for this. And Ulric has the moral fiber that the council could use. I think Cas could be right in this situation. I'm not opposed to the idea as long as we can complete what we're doing first. You both saw how much this town was in peril when we arrived. Do you really think they're equipped to pick up where their 'governor' left them? Outside of Castellan and Pike, I don't know if they're capable of recovering without our assistance."

"Your friend is right," Castellan says, nodding at Soleil. "In any event, I agree with you about a council as well, Jareth. It would not be a permanent arrangement by any means. Just a stop gap until we are able to find one suitable for the role of governor. Either way, though, I think you have learned enough about Pike and myself to know that we want what's best for the people of this town...And the three of you are, at the very least, too stubborn to be easily swayed in your opinions. I hardly think adding a couple more nobles would offset the balance."

He sighs, looking very tired.

"In any case...This is a matter that will not quickly be solved. A council is not ideal...But it will provide both stability, as well as a measure of comfort for our citizens that their government will not again be so easily infiltrated."

He looks at you all for a moment.

"Now what of you? What is your next move? You mentioned something of Eldritch?"

Jareth

"We suspect there are dragon eggs being hidden in a cave in Eldritch. I'm sure wherever the eggs are, we'll find our friends. Even if we don't, at the very least, destroying the eggs must put a damper in their plans. We need to get whatever provisions we may need and chase down this lead. I'm tired of messing with these cultists. We need to end this NOW..."

Castellan's eyebrows raise at the mention of the cave.

"That's a tricky prospect. You could spend weeks searching around Eldritch. There must be a dozen caves, or more, around that city. I'd say that our best bet would be to capture some prisoners and interrogate them, but it sounded like Tiberius chased off the majority of them. There may be a few stragglers around the city, but it might prove difficult to find one that actually knows their ass from a hole in the ground."

He strokes his beard, thoughtfully, for a moment.

"Your best bet might be heading to Eldritch and asking around there. Subtlety isn't a strong point of this group. Someone is bound to have noticed their presence."

Soleil Moonshadow

Soleil nods in agreement with Castellan then turns to Jareth and Ulric.

"I say we get our supplies and head to Eldritch. The faster we find the cave and destroy the eggs, the faster we can end this threat and save our friends. Rath, Frulam, and Jamna have a considerable head start on us, for all we know, they've already found the eggs and are starting the next phase of the ritual."

She turrns her attention to Castellan.

"While we're gone, gather what you can from the prisoners you round up. Get the nobles together for the council and prepare them for our return. Greenest is going to survive, Castellan, you have our word on that."

"I'll talk to Jory, but you may have to procure your supplies in Eldritch. We've not much left here."

He looks over you, back into the infirmary where Tiberius is continuing to work on Pike.

"In the meantime, the sun is beginning to set. I suggest you rest for the evening, then come see me in the morning and I'll give you the supplies I was able to round up."
