![]() The Frontier Police Department, that force continuously trying to keep peace on the Frontier. Yes folks, they have indeed rebuilt the Police Department building in Frontier City, and boy are they ready to protect and serve! Here are a few details for you to know OOCly about the building. We'll start with the Blast Doors- The Blast doors are the large, double block thick doors with the caution looking stripes on them. These things are made of solid Durasteel with a lining of Ferozium. They are magnetically locked, so if EMPd they will /still/ not budge one bit. In emergency, Bison, the Captain Jett Starlurk, and the Lieutenants are capable of speaking a personalized command word to seal every Blast Door in the building. Good luck getting in or out! Unless sealed, FPD officers can open these normally locked doors, but of the FAE only the commander can unlock them. Only the door to Bisons office is locked regularly, all outer doors are normally unlocked to allow citizens to enter. Cell Doors- The Cell doors are made of Ferozium to lessen the chance of being melted. These doors are Outer Doors- These doors are magnetically locked, are made of Durasteel, and are the equivalent of blast doors, and would require a fair bit of damage to be knocked down kiddos! Officers of the FPD and FPD affiliates have access to these doors. Interior Doors- These doors are normally locked, are made of Durasteel, and have smashproof/bulletproof glass in them. They're thicker than they look, and would require a fair bit of damage to be knocked down kiddos! Officers of the FPD and FAE have access to these doors. The Armory- Only Lieutenants, the Captain, and Chief Bison have easy access to the Armory, but officers can send a quick request to have it remotely unlocked. The Crates of the armory are the locked bit. Lockers- All lockers in the FPD can be accessed by officers and above, and the set with a soccer ball on top is the evidence locker. Those lockers are equipped with Durasteel exteriors, Ferozium linings, and a button on the side EMPs the lockers interiors to deactivate all equipment. Keep in mind this is a concentrated EMP wave, not burst. So it goes through 3 layers of EMP shielding. Cameras- Most of the cameras you see are actually just for show! Instead, there are cameras above every door on both sides of the door. Now, they're concealed, but certainly not invisible to those that really, really care to look! The Cameras link a live feed to Bisons cybernetic eye, Nevadas visor, Jett Starlurks PDA, and Jason Williams PDA. They are also stored on the Camera control console, which is how officers are able to see what's going on. Cameras are of course destroyable, but they're constantly broadcasting your every movement. The Cameras all have 2 layers of EMP shielding, and the building itself has another 2 against outside EMPs. The Walls are Hella thick, Durasteel reinforced and devastatingly heavy. Destroying them is certainly not easy, but definitely possible with plastic explosives. Edited by Aria Wiess, Mar 30 2017, 11:46 PM.

Update: Due to the amount of people breaking out and how painfully easy it currently is to break out, you now cannot lock pick the locks from the inside or break out from the inside unless you have weapons or explosives that are powerful enough to break the doors. Breaking people out from the outside though remains unchanged. Edited by Aria Wiess, Mar 30 2017, 11:49 PM.

Probably either new players or players who don't want to sit around in jail. I wonder if a /Slime/ could pick a lock... Also, by the late 32nd century you'd /think/ lock picking would be nonexistent. Lock picking, lock picking never changes... |
