ATTENTION CITIZENS OF THE FRONTIER

This message is being broad-casted across the entire frontier. Sev has murdered Lana and has also fulfilled an illegal USCM bounty within your system. Lana was seen as not only as a friend, but as a community organizer. This atrocity will not go un-punished, even if we have to do it ourselves. This is an official notice of the WARRANT FOR DEATH OR CAPTURE of Sev. A bounty of 10 million is hereby placed on his head. Should he be killed, the brand must be presented & destroyed.
There is a period of three days for this hunt. Should Sev remain alive after these three days, an Imperial Death-squad will be dispatched and the bounty will be nullified. Time is of the essence. If captured, the payment is 11 million; I do not care if he is injured as long as he is alive at the time of being handed over, that's the only requirement.

Remember, this bounty is only active for three days after this initial broadcast (IRL time). If the frontier wants to so-badly not have our ground forces in the town, then perhaps it's time you handle the pro-USCM dog within your populace, or we'll hunt him down for you.

- Advisor Ixatl

-The garrison on the planet, composed of 200, would now actively be looking for Sev as well, which would make travel a bit more difficult.-

IMPERIAL UPDATE:
Due to USCM response, the Eternal Empire must cancel this bounty. High Command does not wish to cause USCM interference within the frontier's system, nor engage the USCM in warfare over a planet that is not officially a member of the Imperial Alliance; anyone who accomplishes this bounty will have done so by their own actions and the Eternal Empire will not be held responsible nor will the individual receive payment. It is unfortunate, but it's just the way it must be for the safety of everyone. It is advised to not engage Seven, considering the repercussions it could carry if you do so. While we do not believe in submitting before any other Empire, the frontier itself would suffer if we provoked a USCM response -something we do not wish to do when the planet is close to becoming a sovereign city state.

Power through unity. Stay safe.

((quick note, empires cannot defeat faction nations in any way except like in events or so.))
((I sincerely doubt GW would bother to waste time RPing out a battle between the EE and USCM without it being an event, and even then, it wouldn't really do much to us. It's just political hyperbole.

Also people have fought and defeated Andromeda soldiers on the planet before, I wouldn't be so sure victories aren't impossible, I just know GW has stated that obviously lore factions cannot be wiped out.

Also, if you could stop dropping these little mini-mod type comments on nearly everything I or another EE member posts, that'd be nice. It feels very patronizing. ))

*Sev flops onto his bed on a construction site and says to himself*

"Welp, I'm getting May and murderbots for Christmas.
Best. Christmas. Ever.

I should get checked..."

This is an Official Message from a United Systems Military Command.

The USCM would like to remind the Eternal Empire that failure to adhere to requests given by United Systems representatives will not be tolerated. Military Command would like to take this opportunity to provide a copy of the galactic map, and make some statements.

*A copy of the galactic map is positioned here. The USCM space and Eternal Empire territory are marked out*

Rest assured the United Systems has substantial information regarding EE space and customs. A cursory glance at the above map should be ample for some of your smarter officials to realise that it would take only a sector's worth of resources to completely remove all traces of the Eternal Empire from this galactic map.

The United Systems takes a vested interest in lawless space, and would like to reinstate that it's authority in the area is not due to unofficial territorial claims and boasting like yours, but is due to substantial military might allowing us to take whatever we desire. We have plenty of resources to spare from the war, and will not hesitate to engage in military action should there be a need for it.

In a show of good faith, Military Command would like to offer some helpful advice. If you enjoy your homes and your lives in your criminal haven, inform your diplomatic personnel that direct threats towards the United Systems is not a sensible course of action. Unlike real empires such as Avosi or Andromeda, return threats towards you bear no danger for us, and it will very likely go unnoticed if we decide you have become an issue. Nobody will mourn the loss of criminals.

It is advised that your course of action is changed immediately, or there will soon be no Providence Council, as you call it.

ORDAINED RESPONSE

Imperial High Command would like to, first off, suggest against making military threats. It'd be a waste of both Empire's time and resources to fight over something occurring on a useless foreign world.

The point the Supreme Advisor was making is that we are not in control of local laws of the area. Furthermore, we don't care to be. It's not our problem. Another thing to bear in mind is that regardless of the USCM's size compared to ours, cowardice is not a virtue the Empire possesses. We will enforce law as we see fit within our own territory. That is how old Earth nations such as America were formed. I am sure that others may bow before the military might of the United Systems, and that is their choice. Of course, the Eternal Empire would enjoy a more positive relationship, but rather than use a diplomatic tone when speaking to us, there was an opt instead for threats.

Statements that we exist within a criminal Haven are false and show just how incorrect your information must be. The Imperial sector of space and the colonies spread out amongst lawless and neutral space are some of the finest havens in the area. Crime is low within sectors we control. The frontier is not an official Imperial planet, but if we wanted it? it would take a very small deployment of Imperial units to make the planet submit, and there would be none of the criminal behavior upon it. The Empire has little use for the system. While Advisor Ixatl might've cared about Lana, we at large do not -at least not to the extent to provoke a serious issue regarding her death. The Advisor of that system is but a small cog in our large machine. However, we have no interest in debating.

The Empire will offer this deal: We will call off the bounty on Seven and the Deathsquad that would've been deployed today, and in return, USCM ends harassing remarks and ceases military threats. You'd have nothing to gain from trying to attack an independent Empire which unlike those "real" Empires you mentioned, has not bothered to waste time in the stellar war you and Andromeda seem so happy to waste lives and resources on. And those resources you threaten us with? The USCM might win in a military campaign against us, but not before it suffers plenty of losses with those "disposable" resources.

That is the sensible solution to this problem. And if the USCM expects any sort of easy relations with the Eternal Empire, then in the future you will speak in a diplomatic manner when addressing us. The USCM may not respect the Eternal Empire, but there should be some diplomatic courtesy. We would advise USCM command studies the old earth Roman Empire, the Third Reich, or the USSR, and realize that just because you may be bigger than the rest, and a super power, it pays to not worry about a problem regardless of size.

Despite the threatening nature of USCM's contact, we will end this transmission on a courteous note and wish the USCM and it's citizens well.

The bounty on Seven will be retracted. Again, however, remember that the Empire will uphold local laws of systems under it's influence -and even if we didn't, the frontier's police department would've. Not the Empire nor the Coalition of Free Systems is responsible in that regard.

*Also, do note the Empire's response is completely private.*

This is an Official Message from a United Systems Military Command.

You are in no place to bargain.

The United Systems recognises that you have taken down the bounty, and is satisfied by this. As previously stated, the United Systems recognises local authority such as the colonial government, but does not appreciate non-local powers interfering in our business, and their business. Support their government all you wish, but do not directly threaten us, or United Systems assets, or it will be responded to in kind.

We thank you for your co-operation, but heavily suggest you learn your place in the Galaxy, and learn it quickly.

((I still get to say the EE basically told the USCM to fuck off and got away with it! That's still a win for me! Damn, that's two stellar Empires we've poked at... I can't wait for my faction to get nuked off the map, at least we'll go down with a fight.

Ah... Kidding of course. Oh well, still got to basically be hard asses in response, I'm just glad I managed to mitigate that after OSSIE'S AGGRESSIVENESS.

Could I request this topic locked? There's nothing else to gain here, and I'd like for the EE/USCM transmissions to not be buried by further responses considering they are kind of important. Thanks goldie.))
