After a young man's premonition of a deadly race-car crash helps saves the lives of his peers, Death sets out to collect those who evaded their end.

I'm praying 4 Kevin 4 when he watches this :seachanel:
Don't worry, I survived. Though this movie can still go DIAF. Maybe it's because I'd binged the first three before seeing this, but this one was so far inferior to those entries that it almost felt like a ripoff of the series made by The Asylum. The whole twist involving the cowboy being revealed to have survived made no sense once you remember that, in the initial premonition, he died before Hunt and Janet. All of the characters were boring, having been given no development and played by wooden actors. The opening disaster and the ensuing kills were weak. Overall, this is the one movie that I'd probably skip if I rewatch the series again.

My full review is here.

When you walk into the room. You pull me close and we start to move
And we're spinning with the stars above. And you lift me up in a wave of love
Ooh, baby, do you know what that's worth? Ooh heaven is a place on earth
They say in heaven love comes first. We'll make heaven a place on earth

Since u mentioned all the uninspired kills, I'll throw another in2 the pot w/ the cowboy being crushed by the hydrotherapy pool being directly ripped from 1 of the novels cuz I had already done extensive research in2 them, even if I haven't read any of them :teriwhat:

Yasss @ u liking the hair salon tho, it's the only death w/ actual tension, lbr :oop:

Overall, I totally agree w/ u tho, even if I have a small fondness 4 Janet, the movie just sucks, no if's, and's, or but's

Didn't even know that about the cowboy's death being ripped off from one of the books. But yeah, it doesn't really help this movie's case.

this movie was the first (1) i saw on the internet lol
the characters in this actually believe the lead pretty easy about the "die after you survive a disaster" theory. Even the douche character, although skeptic, believes it enough to look after his friend/get laid. There wasn't really like a "that's fucking crazy". They're all like "welp, guess that's how the cookie crumbs"

Slaughter

I liked George and Lori and Janet (the highlight of the movie) but this movie is just stupid and awkward. The directing is so cheap, the score is cheaper, and the kills are dumb and lazy. it just lacks soul, purpose, intellect, and talent. Every character feels one dimensional and when you die you literally feel nothing. It just feels like a movie written by a 12-year-old who just watched a FD movie and doesn't understand that having people quickly and gruesomely die isn't all that it takes to make a FD movie. You need buildup, suspense, good acting, good writing, and a tone that is dark rather than fucking Looney Toons or some random DTV horror movie in the bottom of a Walmart DVD bin.

It's fun but not good.

The part in bold is what I thought precisely. This was the sort of movie that SyFy would come up with to cash in on the series, not something that belonged on the big screen in 3D.
