Let's get to work!

In this intense and heart pounding supernatural thriller, Jessie (Kate Bosworth) and Mark (Thomas Jane) decide to take in a sweet and loving 8-year-old boy, Cody. Unbeknownst to them, Cody is terrified of falling asleep. At first, they assume his previous unstable homes caused his aversion to sleep, but soon discover the truth: Cody's dreams manifest in reality as he sleeps. In one moment they experience the incredible wonder of Cody's imagination, and in the next, the horrific nature of his night terrors. To save their new family, Jessie and Mark embark on a dangerous hunt to uncover the truth behind Cody's nightmares.

I see April will be delivering that 1-2-3-4 weak punch of trashy horror.
No wonder the 1st of April is AFD
Something tells me they missed the point of AFD if they're going to deliver cheap jokes
Aren't cheap jokes all what AFD is about tho? :meh:
This is the cheapest joke of all :meh:
Movie studios r always cheap so they can actually make money off their trash. :meh:

What are you talking about Green Room and The Invitation have great reviews and Before I Wake looks really promising with the cast and plot. Amityville and Darling look like they could be enjoyable as well.

This has actually looked fairly disappointing 4 a premise that could be so extravagant & Amityville has been a disappointment from the get-go, Green Room rly depends since the trailers haven't rly lived up 2 the premise 4 me, & as I said b4, Darling looks like a rip-off of Repulsion so :siptay2:

While I don't think the trailer for this isn't amazing the plot, cast, and crew make me have an immense faith in it. Jacob Tremblay recieved great reviews for his work in Room so I definitely think that he will manage to pull this role off. I disagree about Green Room's trailers because I feel they manage to back a gritty, violent punch. Amityville won't be great but should be cheesy fun and Darling may be a rip off of Repulsion, but looks to be a well acted and stylish one that has enough good to make up for the originality.

A good cast & crew have proven failures b4hand, but I'll probz watch this anyway @ some point, it's just something that I feel isn't being as ambitious as it could've been :clocked2:

Gritty & violent doesn't mean it looks all that exciting, but I'll have 2 c what I think about it since I already decided I would watch upon the premise

Since I've seen all the rest of the Amityville's, I'll watch it, but let's not act like it's gonna be anything good here when this is a response 2 Matt saying it's gonna be a 1-2-3-4 punch of trash :letsnot:

Does it rly @ make up for *lack of* originality? :breeshush:

Well that debate is now completely outdated. Rings, Amityville, and this have all been pushed back. This hasn't been officially pushed back but Mike Flanagan tweeted that it very much looks likely to get pushed back because of Relativity's financial troubles. So this is very much in the worst situation of the 3. So other horror films now set to be released in April bow are Hush (Flanagan's other horror film) and Holidays.
