The originals, especially Empire Strikes Back, are the shit. The prequels are an acquired taste and knowing what Lucas was trying to do gives me a minute more respect for him and the films, but are mostly shit. I loved TFA, but it had flaws that I see are just as bad/equal to that of the originals, especially Return of the Jedi. I just think this one gets more flack being as it wasn't as original as the originals and was hyped the hell up. It's relative.

Originality wasn't even an issue 4 me in this case rly, the newbies were honest 2 God garbage becuz Rey was nothing but a big Mary Sue prancing around w/ her bironic characteristics that I could've been more 4 if it didn't become more glaring as the film went along, Finn was an underdeveloped, annoying melt that freaked over practically every little thing, & Poe was basically nothing aside from being a pilot & I can't rly fathom y ppl have grown so attached 2 them already when there's barely anything 2 them @ all whatsoever, which doesn't even begin 2 cover my issues w/ the lack of any sort of development or feeling of threat coming from the antagonists; there were far 2 many filling spaces & not enough actually doing things worthwhile. :boredney:

When you walk into the room. You pull me close and we start to move
And we're spinning with the stars above. And you lift me up in a wave of love
Ooh, baby, do you know what that's worth? Ooh heaven is a place on earth
They say in heaven love comes first. We'll make heaven a place on earth
