Susan Cooper is an unassuming, deskbound CIA analyst, and the unsung hero behind the Agency's most dangerous missions. But when her partner falls off the grid and another top agent is compromised, she volunteers to go deep undercover to infiltrate the world of a deadly arms dealer, and prevent a global crisis.
Just saw this last night, and holy shit did I laugh my ass off. If this is what Melissa McCarthy is capable of when she isn't doing crap like Identity Thief and Tammy, then I really hope she starts picking out better roles, because she was hysterical in this. She actually played a real character for once, and she stole the show. Paul Feig does a great job on the other side of the camera, too, giving McCarthy a lot to do and also doing some surprisingly good action scenes. The supporting cast was also great, especially Rose Byrne as a Bond girl villain and Jason Statham basically parodying himself. My only real problem was with the plot, which was pretty generic and got convoluted towards the end, but it wasn't that big a problem. Overall, it's probably the funniest movie of the year so far.

My full review is here.
