IMDB Blurb:
It's the last day of school at a high school in a small town in Texas in 1976. The upperclassmen are hazing the incoming freshmen, and everyone is trying to get stoned, drunk, or laid, even the football players that signed a pledge not to.

Surprised Dubsy hasn't made a post about this, seems like his type of movie. Really chill coming of age story that captures that 70s feel surprisingly well without forcing it (and still holds up fairly well today considering how many of my classmates were hitting it up rather obviously), even accompanied by quite possibly the quintessential soundtrack for a 70s nostalgic. Regardless of how much screentime a person has, they make the most of what they're given & the characters all feel like real people, despite the plot's reliance on drinking & drugs, which has tended to be exaggerated in several other films. Don't know if it's anyone else' personal taste, but I dug it & felt it had some great messages sprinkled throughout it.

When you walk into the room. You pull me close and we start to move
And we're spinning with the stars above. And you lift me up in a wave of love
Ooh, baby, do you know what that's worth? Ooh heaven is a place on earth
They say in heaven love comes first. We'll make heaven a place on earth
