Vacation (2015)

Rated R for crude and sexual content throughout, and for brief graphic nudity

Hoping to bring his family closer together and to recreate his childhood vacation for his own kids, a grown up Rusty Griswold takes his wife and their two sons on a cross-country road trip to the coolest theme park in America, Walley World. Needless to say, things don't go quite as planned.
You know, for a movie shamelessly cashing in on nostalgia for a comedy classic, this was actually really funny. Kind of dumb and forgettable, but I did like it, though the rest of my family (who I saw it with) liked it more than I did. The cast was great, the cameos were very entertaining, and the jokes hit the target more often than not. Dunno if I'd recommend it over Spy (or the original Vacation), but it's worth a matinee at least.

I wouldn't have minded if he was left behind for a good portion of the film because I hated his evil child routine.
I haven't actually seen, I was just re: 2 the OPer since it was kinda ironic :iuss:

Look around you. Kind of amazing, isn't it?
This looked awful so I chose not to waste my time with it.
This doesn't have to be a day of sadness.
