When a devoted husband and father is left home alone for the weekend, two stranded young women unexpectedly knock on his door for help. What starts out as a kind gesture results in a dangerous seduction and a deadly game of cat and mouse.

Anyone excited for Eli Roth's other horror film being released this year?

I kinda want to see it, but don't all at once. I blame the fact that I read the ending and literally burst out laughing at how dumb it was.

The whole film synopsis is on Wikipedia but I actually kind of want to see this so I avoided it. Hoping it'll all work on film though, because it looks so messy and fun.

This looks fun actually. I expected worse from the title.

When you walk into the room. You pull me close and we start to move
And we're spinning with the stars above. And you lift me up in a wave of love
Ooh, baby, do you know what that's worth? Ooh heaven is a place on earth
They say in heaven love comes first. We'll make heaven a place on earth

Look around you. Kind of amazing, isn't it?
This strikes me as a lower stakes, less artistic Funny Games.
This doesn't have to be a day of sadness.

We can accept it as a gift of unity and hope.

It's kinda Funny Games if Funny Games were a really, really dark comedy. At least from what I read.
