Horror Franchises That Should Stay Dead

With Halloween in a limbo of sorts it got me thinking about maybe some franchises should just be let go. Are there any horror franchises you think should be laid to rest?

If someone tells you about an incident regarding something called The Last Slumber Party, Idk what they're talking about.

Children of the Corn
Hellraiser

To name a few.

Then again, I guess there a people that like them, so why should these movies bother me?

For me
Scream- I don't want a Scream 5 without Wes Craven and the show is just a blah attempt to use its name for success
Children of the Corn- 9 or so movies and none of them are good. Just let it rot in Syfy channel.
Paranormal Activity- As a fan of the franchise I know they have milked the cow for all it's worth in everyway.
The Human Centipede- No more. The world is suffering enough already.
Saw- Just leave it alone. Same reasons as Paranormal Activity.

Yeah, I hate Saw. End that shit.

The original Children of the Corn is great. I've only seen the first 3 and still that opinion holds.

Fuck Human Centipede. End that shit, too.

I'm totally for Scream being put to rest until it gets a remake in 10 years or so. Hopefully that doesn't happen, but by 2026, I doubt I'd care as long as no more sequels to the original are made. I love 1-4 and think they're all great.

I'm not a big fan of any Children of the Corn's despite loving the concepts so much. They all just come across as hokey to me.

I don't personally have anything against any of the aforementioned franchises as long as they have good shit 2 serve, even tho I'm BEYOND done w/ the existence of PA, I haven't even watched any of the films, so I can't necessarily drag them 2 the pits quite yet :whoops:

I thought Curse of Chucky was good. Not any better than good, but sort of a viable reboot to get the series going again.
