"While there are no details on whether the new installment is a sequel or a reboot, “Sorority Row” and “Piranha 3DD” screenwriters Josh Stolberg and Pete Goldfinger have been hired to write the script, according to The Tracking Board. Joining them as executive producers on the project are the director and writer of the first “Saw,” James Wan and Leigh Whannell."

I don't even hate the Saw series, this just feels so unneeded and after how messy Saw 3D was I kinda want this series to just rest :lolwong:

I've only seen 1 & 2 & 5/6 and 7 but I guess I should give the full series a chance but meh I was disappointed when I saw this thread.

On one hand, the writers of Sorority Row and Piranha 3D are working on this. On the other hand, those two also wrote Piranha 3DD, which balances them out.

Eh, I'm down. I never really hated these movies (except the fourth one), nobody sees them for quality writing anyway, and I'm kind of starting to miss the series. Let's have one more go-around, and let the bodies hit the floor one last time.
KEEP AMERICA GREAT

They said I wasn't good enough for television. How do you like me now, voices in my head?
I love SR but its style seems way different than Saw's

Omg. Yeah I love SR but OMFG the thought of that style with Saw seems really messy :lolwong: Maybe this is going for a completely different tone from the others.
