If you're really doing this, I want to help.
The opening scene in the original is the best thing ever with the ever changing shirt position on the girlfriend

The original is honestly so sexual w/out oversexualizing any of the charries, I gasped when I rewatched cuz I didn't recall it being like that :woahwoahwoah:

Allow me, then.

I actually liked the remake, and I say this having seen the original. Wasn't as good, but still very watchable. I have no idea why they made Peter Vincent into a Criss Angel parody, though. (That certainly didn't age poorly, no siree.) A better idea, I feel, would've been to make him a parody of Bruce Campbell or Lance Henriksen, a cult actor who starred in a number of famous horror movies in the '80s and '90s and now works the convention circuit and in direct-to-video schlock. Hell, you could even cast one of those guys in the role for maximum effect. (Campbell, in fact, made a movie with that very plot description called My Name is Bruce.) That would've been a much better way to update the concept of an old Hammer Horror star turned late-night TV host who gets called upon to fight monsters for real. A similar, albeit more offbeat, idea would've been to make Peter a Penny -- an '80s scream queen, or the former star of a Buffy or Charmed parody, whose fading career now rests solely on name recognition by their older fans.

Kevin shut u down :icant:

Ya, as some1 who as only seen the remake once, but remembers enjoying it nearly as much as the original, I can safely say that the direction they went in w/ Peter Vincent in both remakes was such a mind-boggling collective why?

ahhhh tho that's a perfect idea :aricry:
