Universal has just dropped a lot of information for the upcoming fourth entry in the James Wan-created Insidious franchise. Leigh Whanell, who directed the third film, has been confirmed as the writer and Adam Robitel, who directed the acclaimed The Taking of Deborah Logan will be helming the film, which is locked for an October 20th, 2017 release date. Jason Blum, Oren Peli, and James Wan are all acting as producers.

Confirmed to return is Lin Shaye, who will reprise her role as paranormal investigator Elise Rainer.

Last year, Whanell spoke to We Got This Covered, saying, “That whole area there where Elise has rediscovered her gift, I think you could have a lot of adventures before she arrives. So I think there is a lot of room there.”

When you walk into the room. You pull me close and we start to move
And we're spinning with the stars above. And you lift me up in a wave of love
Ooh, baby, do you know what that's worth? Ooh heaven is a place on earth
They say in heaven love comes first. We'll make heaven a place on earth

Saw the first movie and while I enjoyed it, I don't feel like watching the others. So, I'm probably not gonna watch this, either.

Should I use my invisibility to fight crime, or for evil?

3 is the least popular one. So many people dislike it, yet I like it a lot more than 2. Anyway The Taking of Deborah Logan was a good horror film and Adam Robitel looks like a good choice.

best part about 3 was Shelly Hennig
