Universal has just dropped a lot of information for the upcoming fourth entry in the James Wan-created Insidious franchise. Leigh Whanell, who directed the third film, has been confirmed as the writer and Adam Robitel, who directed the acclaimed The Taking of Deborah Logan will be helming the film, which is locked for an October 20th, 2017 release date. Jason Blum, Oren Peli, and James Wan are all acting as producers.

Confirmed to return is Lin Shaye, who will reprise her role as paranormal investigator Elise Rainer.

Last year, Whanell spoke to We Got This Covered, saying, “That whole area there where Elise has rediscovered her gift, I think you could have a lot of adventures before she arrives. So I think there is a lot of room there.”

When you walk into the room. You pull me close and we start to move
And we're spinning with the stars above. And you lift me up in a wave of love
Ooh, baby, do you know what that's worth? Ooh heaven is a place on earth
They say in heaven love comes first. We'll make heaven a place on earth

You literally don't know who's starring, the plot, and we don't have a trailer or still so why are you calling this "meh" over the only thing we know about it so far (who is directing it)? :mew: ???????

How about the fact that it's a fourth movie in an already meh looking series? :mew:

Plus one of the only major credits to the director's name is Paranormal Activity Ghost Dimension :mew:

Wrong. The Taking of Deborah Logan is the director's biggest project and a really effective and chilling horror film. It was very well done and says a lot more about him than Ghost Dimension, which rewritten and reshooting a number of times.

Plus have you even seen the films to be all meh about them? Just because they look it doesn't mean they are and being so judgemental about the most limited of information currently available is lame as hell and just pitiful.
