The land used to be at peace, but that was a story, a time that was soon lost. A theiving Vampire Lord had begun setting up his troops in the depths of the Forest, gaining the love of the ever moving trees as he told them stories and things about places far off... Soon ranting on how if he gained power the trees wouldn't be a low lined, unrecognized existance any longer. He began to tell these trees of his plots and ideas, the more he told the more they listened and the more they listened the more he took them over. As the war struck out Ebony watched as her father went out daily to defend his land, pushing them to the recess of the land. Each day that King Oran was out, the more Queen Elliana grew sick. A plauge had struck the castle, caused by Mages from the other side, evil Mages that dipped into the black arts and wanted more freedom to do as they wish. So they swore themselves over to Daggoth. One day a scout came back to the castle, his loins were spilling from his gut as he said his final words. The king was dead. Killed by a mountain troll in one of the greatest battles. They were forced back into retreat to rest up and try again later. Queen Elliana was kept in the dark for some time, gaining nervous glances from the maids as she lie in her bed. But soon she caught on and pried it out of a relatively new and nervous maid. Soon after the Queen died. Feeling lost the castle fell upon Ebony, just reaching her eighteenth birthday. Princess Ebony did what she had to and took the throne in a single sweeping yes. But the army was very scepticle of a woman taking their King's possition... Daughter or not of the great king. Ebony, the kind hearted little girl surprised them all when she yelled up a storm at the general and pointed out the quickest, safest, and most strategic route to the army. She had gotten recordings of each new attack and made her own notes. Soon enough the army was on the front line knowing exactly what to expect. Lord Daggoth a creature of habbit, had made a fatal mistake. His order was as plain as the nose on his very pale face. Werewolves, Trolls, Swordsman, Horseback, Archers, then Mages. The exact order. At her first attempt she managed to get her army to take down at least half Daggoth's troops. Daggoth, feeling the wounds pushed forth. He changed up the order and sent the troops out again. Even with Ebony's Seriously depleated army she had managed to come up with a strategy before hand. She knew that Daggoth would panick and switch up the order, thus weakening his army. She sent her army out and eventually took down a quarter of Daggoths remaining army. Daggoth immediatly retreated into the forest, casting his army out, spreading them until called upon again. Again the world was at peace. But which side do you reside on? Daggoth the evil or Ebony the good? |
