Caleb saw a girl walking down the corridor and turned to matt hearing his comment. Good, I would appreciate it if you could keep me updated as to how the problem is going. He saw that the girl was getting closer and he lowered his voice and spoke a bit more quickly. And if theres anything you need, either to help you with the project or per our agreement you let me know... He nodded as the girl approached and then bumped into him. He looked at her about to turn vile again, but he thought better of it considering that that kind of change in temperment could hurt his arangement. He cleared his throat and smiled at the girl. Its ok... Did you get them all? Do you need a hand with those? He forced a smile. |

Even though she didn't really like people she sensed them really well. And like ussual she wasn't wanted around. It was fine with her because she had better things to do. She shrugged him off and got up, "I'm fine..what of it?! Wouldn't make a difference who i was i'd still be another invisble person to you. Opps did i say that aloud?..I didn't mean to, no actually i did." she said it in a evil sarcastic way. Giving him a evil stare, "Next time your in my way i won't be so polite about it..magit." Miley walked off near the other corridor and turned the corner. She couldn't believe she just said all of that. Her mind was telling her to be cruel but her heart was telling her otherwise. She purposely hit her head against the wall. And he was so attractive looking too. |

Caleb's eyes widened as the girl spoke and as she walked off his eyes narrowed as he watched following where she was headed to. He turned back to matt and shook his head. Well, she was pleasent huh? He looked at his watch and back at Matt. Well I'd better be going, lots still to do. Thanks again for your help. He turned down the hall walking in the direction that the girl had gone. He couldn't believe what she had had the nerve to say. She must have thought very highly of herself to presume that she could get away with calling him names. She obviously was ignorant of eho she was talking to and now Caleb would track her down and educate her so she would never make the mistake again. He heard the fotsteps still up the hall ahead of him and quickened his pace. |

She heard footsteps after she hit her head against the wall. Either he was following her or someone else was coming down the corridor. She didn't really care if it was him or not. Even though the stupidness feeling of her heart says otherwise. Her eyes followed a line that was on the dungeon floor, as though it was leading to something. Later she was suppose to brain storm more about what had occured in her dream. It was if though she dreamed it before and she couldn't put her finger on it either. Determinded to stay there incase it was the boy she'd have another go. She ran her finger through her hair and narrowed down her eyes towards the footsteps where coming from. |

Matt nodded and then watched as a girl bumped into Caleb mumbling a sorry. He noted Caleb's reaction to the girl and felt that he had been a little too nice in that situation he should have just let her be on her way and ignored her. That was what Matt would have done anyway, but Caleb clearly didn't share Matt's nonchalant attitude towards people who were rude. What surprised him the most in the conversation between Caleb and the blind girl, was the girl's reaction to Caleb trying to help her with her books that was both uncalled for and somehow her attitude was just stupid. It was one thing to act that way to the other unworthy houses of Hogwarts, but you didn't act that way towards other Slytherin's it just wasn't good karma. "Alright, I sure will keep you informed Caleb," he said just before he watched Caleb walk off. He thought it strange that he was walking the same direction that the girl was going, but then realized that that was the direction to the common room and followed after the other two. Of course he didn't really care if they were going to be in a confrontation he just happened to be heading to the common room so he would pass by them. |

Slytherin 10th Year

Sydney slowly made her way into the dungeon corridor, making sure there was no one there. It would not do to have someone hear this particular conversation with Matt. It would raise quite a few questions. It was their final year and they needed to form some plans for their final year. And deal with a few loose strings. Sydney knew exactly who she wanted to learn more about, a certain younger year who seemed to know more than she should. Yes, she might have to be dealt with this year. Leaning up against a wall, she waited patiently for Matt to arrive. |

Sydney didn't have to wait long for Matt to arrive, she was sure he was just about an anxious for this meeting. Pushing off the wall, she stood up straight in front of his. The Shadow Walkers needed to do something, anything this year or Syd, at least, would probably go insane this year listening to all the muggle-lovers shove their beliefs down everyone's throats. She gave Matt a small coy smile, You know, one of these days all your flirting is going to get you into trouble. She had to admit Matt was one of the few in this school that was worth her time, and not at all bad to look at. She moved a lock of hair away from her face before continuing, Yes, we need to talk about the future of our...club. Its been rather inactive lately, and there are a few complications we will need to deal with. She didn't like complications, especially ones that could destroy everything they had worked so hard for. |

Sydney passed Matt a small flirtatious smile, one she didn’t use very often. Matt possessed a certain charm, the Syd found rather endearing. She took a small step towards him, Now that I do believe. There isn’t any fool in this joke of a school you wouldn’t be able to take. Not including myself of course. She casually reached up and brushed a piece of dirt from his shoulder. Just make sure that you don’t get so caught up in your flirting that you give something away to the wrong person. Her eyes flashed dangerously, that was one thing she would not tolerate. She was intrigued when Matt said he had his own complication. Sydney wondered if it was the same one she was having, plausible but unlikely. She pressed her hands together and brought them to her lips, trying to think of how best to explain her own problem. We have an admirer that may or may not be dangerous. I noticed this last term, a young Slytherin girl approached me in my Runes class, asking questions about Caleb and our club She moved her hands to behind her back and pursed her lips. I was curious at first, but didn’t pay it much attention. I now believe I made the wrong choice. This summer I caught her poking around the Shrieking Shack. An auror in training showed up, it’s possible that she was tipped off to what was happening. The girl made numerous reference’s to Caleb and the second floor. She also made a reference to a task Caleb asked me to do. She turned away from Matt, I think this girl needs to be taken care of. Right now killing her is out of the question, but there are ways of keeping her from talking. Everyone has their secrets, all we need to do is find hers out and exploit it. She turned back to face him, her face impassive. She knew what had to be done. This girl had to be stopped, and right now the best way to do that was to find out her dirty little secret. When Sydney had first joined the Shadow Walkers, she had vowed that nothing would get in her way of accomplishing her goals. Alice Darlington would not stand in her way. She looked back up to Matt a slight expression of curiosity on her face. You mentioned you had your own problem? |

Ah! The smile he'd been waiting for was finally shown, that flirtatious fun side of Syd came out if only for a brief second until it was replaced with a flash of warning as Sydney told him not to let his flirting get the better of him and to always watch what he said. As if he didn't do that enough already, now he had Sydney to deal with on top of it and Sydney was definitely a girl you didn't want to be on her bad side. He decided it was better not to continue that conversation and to move onto the reason for the meeting. "Yes'm," he replied with a nod, and continued to listen as Sydney explained her problem. Of course Sydney didn't give away any names, that was typical, if it was something she wanted to do herself she wouldn't give away vital details like names. Matt could ask for the girl's name, that was true, and Sydney might need a little help uncovering this student's secret. "Well tell me what you need and I'll do what I can." Once Syd finished with her story it was Matt's turn, for Syd asked him to clarify what his problem was. Matt would have to tell Sydney sooner or later, after all since Caleb was gone it was Sydney's club being second in comand and all. "Noire," he said simply, even though that would be enough of an explanation in it's own right Matt felt compelled to explain a bit more, "she asked me to meet her in the forest, and of course as with everything with Noire it wasn't a pleasure meeting. Anyway once I got out there the girl rattled on about being a puppet to Caleb and decided she was going to leave the club. Naturally I persuaded her to stay, but you know the french they're stubborn and once they have their minds set on something....well..you get the picture. Anyway she's more use to us alive but I can't guarantee how much longer she'll stay without putting up a fuss." |

Sydney nodded when Matt asked her what she needed, For now I just wanted to keep you apprised of the situation. Though it wouldn’t surprise me if this girl approached you at some point. She was very interested in our little group. Just remember if she does, don’t do anything. A brief smile came to her face. If she could figure out Alice and put a stop to her curiosity, then this would be a very good year. She’s mine. She moved back to lean against the wall as Matt told her about his own problem. Noire wanting to leave was definitely a big problem. She knew too much, she was there the night in the shack. No she would not be allowed to just leave. That’s unacceptable. She should know this isn’t something you just leave. Since the day they first met, Sydney had had a problem with Noire. She had been able to see that she was infatuated with Caleb. Now that he was gone, it was likely her enthusiasm had left as well. Out of sight, out of mind. Is there anyway we could make sure she doesn't try this again? Anything to hold over her head? A younger relative at the school perhaps. It wasn’t beyond Sydney to use any means necessary to achieve her goal. She rubbed her fingers over her lips lightly, trying to see a way to turn this to their advantage. |

Matt nodded as Sydney told him to be ready in case the thorn in her side ever came looking for him, and if she did to do nothing to the little girl and to save her for Syd. That was a reasonable request as it was Sydney who noticed the girl in the first place, and this was the first he was hearing of her. "I'll keep a look out," he said, "and since I'd rather stay alive and human I wont touch a hair on the pretty little things head." He then tried to think of anything he knew about Noire that could be used as blackmail and all his thoughts came up blank. There had to be something they could use to sway Noire's loyalty. The girl might not be exactly the type of person Matt chose to associate with but the girl had her uses for the time being and he was surely not going to let her walk away her particular skills were too valuable and he was sure Sydney felt the same way. Matt gave up on trying to think of something to hold over Noire's head, at the moment it was useless. "Nothing comes to mind that we could use," Matt confessed, "although we could always use the Imperius curse until we can find something worth blackmailing her over." |

Sydney gave Matt a small smile, when he agreed to her request about Alice. Not that she expected him to refuse, though Alice did have a way of pushing buttons. And while Sydney could control her emotional responses, she didn’t know how Matt would do under Alice’s constant annoyance. Excellent She briefly contemplated telling Matt who he was referring to, but he was a smart boy and would figure it out probably within the first three minutes of meeting Alice. Now Noire was the main problem, and would need to be dealt with swiftly and decisively. Sydney graced Matt with another flirtatious smile upon hearing his suggestion, Matt, I love the way your mind works. She let out a small murmur as she thought about there options. Well, normally I don’t think she could go to the Auror’s, but with the type of information she has, it would be likely they would cut her deal. Leaving us to take all the fall. No that wouldn’t do at all, she couldn’t be allowed to roam free, able to destroy the Shadow Walkers at her whim. Unconsciously she began to twirl her wand around on her fingers, something she did often when she was deep in thought. She looked back at Matt, a sinister smile spreading across her face. I think that the Imperius curse would be our best option for now. At least until we can find something more permanent. Either blackmail, or we could always arrange for it to look like this is her grand operation. That was one lesson she had learn, find a scapegoat. Noire would do just perfectly for that as well. I assume you would want to do the honors? She would allow Matt to be the one to curse Noire, though she would have loved the pleasure herself. He was the one who discovered this problem. Also, Noire would have to know that Matt would talk to Sydney about this, it was unlikely she would be willing to a meeting between herself and Sydney. |

Sydney was going to kill Matt with that smile, that made it twice in one conversation it was a record to say the least. He laughed when she said she liked the way he thought, Matt liked the way he thought too it made things interesting for him. Matt listened as Sydney spoke of what Noire could do with the information and knew that that wasn't an option, there was no way they would allow Noire to ruin all their hard work. Matt hadn't thought about making the whole operation out to be Noire's idea, Sydney wasn't a bad thinker herself that plot was great as a back up plan. When Syd offered Matt the pleasure of cursing Noire he nodded and gave her a sinister grin. "I would be honored," he said, "I know how much you wanted that pleasure for yourself, since it was you who took our little scapegoat on her first mission." |
