Christine ran outside of the Weasley home and waved to some people she saw as she ran by. She looked both ways, trying to find someplace to hide and immediately saw some kind of tiny house in the near distance, if that made any sense. She ran as quick as her legs could carry her inside. She opened the wooden door and closed it with ease. As scent reached her nose. A very, animal-like scent. She closed her eyes and held her nose.

"Oh my god, you have to be kidding me..."

She looked at the chickens who were now looking at her, curiosity in their eyes. Christine couldn't help be feel a little bit freaked out and smiled at them.

"Uhh, hey! You mind if I crash here for a few minutes?"

She asked them and chaos erupted. All the chickens fluttered their wings and screeched in their very distinct voices.

"Oh for Merlin's sake!"

Louis followed Chrissy out of the Weasley home and looked carefully around the area. He thought that she would be hiding somewhere totally unpredictable, so those were the places where he checked. He checked in a hollow log, up a tree, in the garage, in a barrel, and etcetera. But, she was nowhere to be found. Louis ws confused and began to walk further.

She must be here somewhere, I hope she didn't get lost....Oh, I would be in so much trouble...

"Christine! Where are you?"

He heard frantic clucking noises at the chicken coop. With a raised eyebrow, he opened the door and instantly saw Christine trying to cover herself with her arms in defense and her eyes were shut. Plus, she seemed a little pale. Chickens were pecking at her left and right, but not in a murderous way, but a fascinated way. He couldn't help but chuckle at the scene in front of him.

Christine was very nervous and completely overreacted.

Okay, maybe hiding here wasn't such a good idea! I'm gonna die! I'm gonna die with chicken peck marks on my body! I hope Louis can hear me...What if he doesn't? I'm done for!

"Nice chickens, Niiiiiice chickens...."

Christine felt the door open by the change of lighting behind her eyelids and heard a very familiar chuckling.

TORTILLA BOY SAVES ME! I KNEW HE WOULD!

She was gong to squeal but decided against it, not wanting to move an inch.

Louis stopped his laughter, seeing how completely terrified Christine must feel about...chickens. Weird phobia. He walked nearer to her.

"Open you eyes, Chrissy....they're not going to harm you, they're just curious, that's all...But then again, how could they not be when such a pretty girl's standing in front of them..."

He smiled, hoping his charm would relax her, if not annoy her playfully for the moment.

"I thought you would be used to being around animals since your brother owns the owl shop in Diagon Alley..."

He titled his head to the side, his blonde bangs whisping even more in his vision.

Christine opened her mouth to the minimum to Louis' comment about her not dying in this coop. She was still hesitant because the constant pecking was driving her insane.

"They're not?"

She heard his compliment about the chickens paying attention and laughed aloud.

"Aw, Lou...I'm so flattered, but you know what I don't swing towards the chicken species. I only date humans, if you didn't know already."

She smiled then explained.

"Well, I'm okay with owls because I've grown up with them my whole life. But chickens....haven't seen them a lot, nope."

Louis sighed, shaking his head, meaning "no".

"Of course you don't date chickens. if you did, I would be insanely jealous. Now come on out of that uncomfortable position because I don't think you want your arms to fall asleep."

He took both of Christine's hands and put them at her sides as she stood, the chickens in the background only rustling a bit, but Louis could see that they stopped pecking at Christine. He listened to her explanation, he could still feel Christine shivering or something. She seemed nervous.

"Oh...I see. So, you're afraid of chickens?"

He tried his best not to laugh, but his lip was quivering, threatening to let out a loud chuckle.

"Don't make fun of me....Can't you see how they're so...terrifying?!"

Christine instantly threw her arms around Louis and gripped his tightly. Her eyes were shut.

"And if you dare use this against me at Hogwarts...."

She threatened in a completely stern tone of voice as she looked up at him with her blue-green eyes.

"No, actually I-"

Louis was cut off because Christine had thrown her arms around him in a hug without warning. He wasn't complaining and hugged her back.

"Psh, Of course I won't use it against you. Maybe when we're alone, yes. But never in public."

He smirked down at her, many idea buzzing through his mind.

"Hey, that's not nice...You wouldn't want me to do that to you, would you?"

Christine tilted her head to the side and her nostrils picked up the barn-like scent and she covered her nose with one of her hands.

"Are you not affected by the stench here?"

Christine wondered why Louis didn't react to the obvious scent around them.

"No, I prefer you didn't use anything against me...obviously."

Louis looked at her and began to reminisce as he talked.

"Well, when my family came to the Burrow to visit, my brother and my older cousins decided it was nice to lock me up in here a couple of times as some kind of joke. So, I'm pretty immuned to the stench. But I was just as terrified as you the first time I was in here at age...I think six."

He nodded his head.

"Being locked up in here wasn't that bad. They would always let me out. I got my revenge the year right before I came to Hogwarts, though. i taught the chickens how to attack."

He laughed, remembering.

Christine laughed, throwing her head back.

"Attacking chickens? That's genius..."

Her expression changed and she held tighter to Louis.

"But that doesn't make me feel better about being in this place..."

She looked at the chickens around her.

Louis heard Christine's light laugh like music to his ears. He felt her grip tighter on him and looked at her slightly scared face.

"Does this make you feel better?"

He leaned in to Christine's face and let his lips grace hers.

Christine felt Louis kiss her. She closed her eyes and pulled him closer. She didn't care about the scent for a few seconds until the scent settled in again. She could feel the chickens staring at them and pulled away softly.

"Very romantic, Leslie...."

She said sarcastically, humor in her voice. She rubbed his cheek and smiled.

"But it did make me feel better, thankies."

She looked at one chicken and shifted a little backwards then looked to her shoes.

"Hey, you think we can get outta here? I think we have to pack."

"Don't call me Leslie. You're welcome"

He said in a stern voice, in retaliation to the "romantic" moment. He saw her look at a chicken and was amused as she made slight faces. He nodded at her and took her hand, smiling yet again.

"Of course...Term start in two days...and we both know how much crap you have in your suitcase..Plus, it might take that many days to drag them back to school.."

They walked out.
